Raven really does have the potential to be romantically ill. She's shown herself to have all the gleeful cruelty of a demon, she presumably leads a rich fantasy life through her reading, and for all her repression, her emotions come out when they want. Further, aware of her origins, she may equate sex with rape, expecting and even wanting such treatment from a lover.
All that potential, wasted! Ah, well. Thanks for the RobRae, I'll certainly be waiting for the next chapter, but I might've felt it more if you'd gone just a little deeper into detail. 7?
