Chapter 2

Now THAT was kickass cool, lol. Damn you just know that Peter is going to just love this day, it's not everyday you get your hot redheaded girlfriend and hot blond friend and housemate in a three some. I liked that you had Gwen teaching MJ although I thought even Ultimate Gwen was still a virgin since when Eddie made the moves on her she didn't want to.

But still it's good. Now let me guess, we get a F/F scene with MJ and Gwen and that 'invigorates' Peter for another round I bet. So fill he be able to fcuk both girls or is the only thing Gwen getting just giving him a blowjob? You know I could see them taking 'friends with benefits' to a whole new level lol.

superbang, the comparison comes from that you wrote both of them. And I like this type of fic more than Tangled Web. Which was very well written and everything, but I didn't really like the subject matter. I really prefer what you are doing with this fanfic and the direction you are going.

Wow! Great fic you got going here! MJ/Peter/Gwen is a nice concept and so full of possibilities! The thought of MJ and Gwen stoned is just too funny for words. And them going all out to make Peter the horniest guy on the planet was awesome! I love this fic and I would very much like to see more! They seem to be just getting warmed up and there's so much more that could be done! Peter's definitely going to have his hands full having to handle both MJ and Gwen, but I think he can do it! Please update soon and keep up the excellent work! This fic rules! Slickboy out.

HOLY CRAP! That was awesome. Superbang, in two chapters you've already out done Tangled web, which lets be honest was a little nasty, harsh, and disturbing. This was really great and sweet. Though I don't really approve of the pot smoking though ;) .

I preffer it as well.

By the way, 616 Earth is simply a method for defining the mainstream universe. And if you're searching some worthwhile post-Onslaught stories, I think you can check Peter Parker Spider-Man vol. II 44-47(A Death in the Family saga), Amazing Spider-Man vol. II 50 (Peter and MJ's reconciliation) and 51-54 (that saga isn't specially interesting, but I liked the characterizations... for the most part. Peter was somewhat OOC), Marvel Knights Spider-Man 1-12 (Mark Millar left the book after 12 issue and the quality dropped down, but the first issues are pretty good).

Oh. And Spider-Girl, of course. Maybe the only current book FEELS like a classic comic.

TVO - Not quite understanding why this is being compared to Tangled Web. Totally different stories, different characters... totally seperate universes. They're completly different flavors of ice cream, "Missing Panels" had better be sweeter than "Tangled Web". Although personally I find it more difficult to write something like Tangled Web.

Jenskott - thank you! We all do this for the love and get paid in complements.

AgentG - Since you guess what happens next... you get to write it!!!

Heh. If you think this is bad enough, you should read The Other arc. In second thought... No. You shouldn't read it.

Admitedly that crossover is screwing with Peter's physical body -let's tell if you hate Man-Spider and the organic web-shooters, you won't appreciate it-, and had several utterly GROSS scenes, but it didn't trash the core personality of any character.

That affair supposedly happened after Gwen and Harry broke up and Gwen dated Peter. And MJ never told Harry or Liz. She told NOBODY.

I liked MJ had known it all along. Yes, it was a retcon, but it was good -for once!- and it wasn't incoherent with the past continuity. In fact it made Peter/MJ's relationship more realistic. And it shed a new light in some scenes meant nothing in the moment (Do you remember when May told Peter the niece of Mrs. Watson loved Spider-Man? Or when Peter and MJ were eating together for first time, the news broadcast Rhino wrecking the streets and Peter was looking for an excuse for vanishing when she suggested going out to see him? Or when was she carrying a newspaper -with JJJ ranting about a supposed alliance between Spidey and Dock Ock-, Gwen asked her if she had seen Peter and MJ rebuked she wouldn't tell her if she knew either? Or when Peter and Norman dissapeared in a party, Harry asked where they were and she muttered 'maybe they are having other party'?)

Sometimes I've heard people telling MJ is brainless. IMO she's way more perceptive and sharper than many fans believe.

Geez, this is turning in a kind of forum. I have no trouble with it, but maybe we're cheating with the number of reviews.

Anyway this story is good. I've also wanted making a MJ/Peter/Gwen in 616 continuity, but I've been unable to finish it.

I for one have no problem with organic webshooters. It actually makes more logical sense than Peter inventing a multipurpose wonder chemical in his basement. That stuff would be worth billions. If scientists could figure out how to make spider silk we would be building bridges and bulletproof vests out of it.

Don't worry, they'll change him back. They have to. He's the corporate icon. In the 80's they really pushed for the black costume to get over but it never did. He'll be swinging around in blue and red in no time (before the next movie).

Confession time... I haven't really read comics since the Onslaught crossover. Terms like "Earth 616" and "Gwen having Norman's babies" are lost on me. Also MJ's Tangled Web is my first fanfic. Was I supprised to recieve e-mails saying Eddie Brock commited suicide (I actually returned a message saying that they were mistaking Venom for Kraven).

Personally I think the finest achievement of the comic book artform is 'Marvels'. For those who haven't read it the ending shows the true importance of Gwen's life. It was a pivitol moment in comics history. "Marvels" enhances the meaning of Gwen's death, rather than drag her character through the mud it lifts her up by showing what its like to be a normal person it a world that crazy.

I guess I'm okay with a forum, cause I keep posting. Is that considered a cheat?

Oh yeah, TVO

This was about five years (real time) after they were married. MJ knew Peter was Spider-Man LONG before they got married. She actually told him before he told her. (this was back when they knew how to write).

I love MJ. I love Gwen. If they're going to treat Peter's loves like this they should've left him with Felicia. Her bad luck power could've explained it all...
