Just wonderful science with amazingly disturbing effect! I rather like it but must have a odd mood about me that today it just plain gave me the creeps to reread... good job! Not just scary the first time but every time you come across it... again good job!

This is my favorite piece on adultfanfiction.net hands down. I just love this story. So creepy and well done. Bravo!

Ooooh.... *pause* ... *blink* ... You know... I kind of chuckled my way through this. Until that last line. Which hit me like a freight train going full speed ahead. Puts a WHOLE different feeling to the piece.

Dang...okay so this was the fic you mentioned on SS...
I dunno how they can prove a RES's orgasm can last 30 min...when my wood turtle's whole process of mounting and ejaculating is around 5-10...I can tell when he does cause he pulls his head in suddenly! HA! I've never head of RES drowning the female because they mate at the surface. At least I've seen em at the surface. It's possible I guess.
But as you know me, the idea of their bits being seperate from the tail...I can't imagine it.
Interesting read though! I thought it was funny how he's describing the bits. I wish I'd come up with this idea...dang.

Excellent work. A wonderful "reality check" with compelling details. The ending is so heartbreaking. Love it.
