Oh wow. I just pleaded that Norman wouldn't touch MJ, but after reading this *which was awkwardly funny as hell* I get the feeling age difference doesn't mean much here.

As usual, great stuff. This update was amazing, and Ultimate Gwen's return? Inspired!

Aw, did you run out of steam? I guess that's the problem with WIP stories...

I really like a lot of the characterisation you've got going on here. In particular, a lot of the little Peter quips are so . . . well . . . Peter! The narrative is occasionally a little hard to follow from chapter or chapter when the time frame jumps or the perspective changes, but this is shaping up to be a really interesting story. Yay for bringing back the clone! I always thought that was a bit of a cop out in the original canon. "Hey, here's a neat character, he's kinda crazy, could be interest-OH NOES BLARG I AM DEAD." I'll be curious to see where you go from here.

Well, I'm a tiny bit disappointed that it's all in her head because that's not where I saw it going from the end of chapter 7 (and I admit, I'm in denial that the next Ult Spider-Man volume is called Death of the Goblin).
But, as long as you keep writing the sex scenes as well as you've been writing them, I'll keep reading.

I never really put out a statement saying what this story was about. It's about me trying to get at least one chapter done per week. That's it. Not to mention I find the Ultimate Universe much easier to deal with than 616.

I'm trying to adress some of the continuity issues. I'm finally up to date on my Ult. Spidey canon, so bear with me for a little bit. It'll make sense in the end. I'm going to one up Marvel by moving forward instead of retconning stuff out of existence.

With that being said, I don't want to sarcafice workmanship for speed. So if things end up a day or so late please bear with me. I'll try to have a new chapter up every Monday.

Honestly? The original Tangled Web/Tangled Web 2 wasn't good enough to justify a reimagining of it, especially since you haven't even finished the first go around. Honestly, if you want an excuse to have Mary Jane turn into a slut who chases anything while Peter and Felicia dance around their unresolved sexual tension, just do a PWP rather than trying something so flimsy and contrived that it makes the average porno movie's script look like award-winning literature.
