Great sequel! But do you plan on updating it...? 'Cause it's been a while. Not that I'm trying to rush you, but just as a friendly reminder: the whole Dark Knight craze has started to die down, and people will start to lose interest.

Dent is just as much a sadist as The Joker. Threatening to cut someone's throat and then fuck the hole you made? Hardcore. But Dent isn't gonna be the main killer, is he? He doesn't have balls enough. I'm glad Erik burned his house down. Dent deserves to die, and hopefully Erik will do it while Barbara watches. This chap was worth the wait. :)

To clarify: It was always supposed to be "Erik", but I didn't notice until recently that my spellchecker kept fixing it as "Eric". Sorry about that.

Part of why I keep calling him "Erik" is to humanize him. I always feel men are more frightening when you can relate to them. I can see how it might be confusing, though, so I'll through in a few more "Joker"s in the future.

P.S. If you;re wondering how I got the name, read the book "Phantom" by Susan Kay. To me, the Joker is just a more colorful version of the Phantom of the Opera.

This is a good story, and I especially loved "Ashes, Ashes", but I'm a little distracted by Joker's "real" name. First off, the way you went from spelling it traditionally (Eric) in "Ashes, Ashes", and now you're spelling it "Erik"... a little continuity there would have been nice.

Also, it's a bit hard for me to imagine the Joker in this fic, because you keep referring him to him as "Erik" so much. I understand it's supposed to be his name, but he will always be "The Joker" to me, so when you always refer to him as Erik, it's like he's a completely different character. Maybe you could call him Joker every once in a while?

But still, this is a good fic, and not as annoying as most Joker/female stories (I usually read slash, so you should feel quite special that I gave your fic a chance... LOL). I hope you'll continue soon.

It's a bummer it was so short. But it's all good, it set the stage for chapter 4. More fun Joker/Barbara stuffs?

Nah, you did scare me. Very few things aside from all insects scare me, but the character of Zasz is FRIGHTENING. I guess maybe because he is so twisted, and you really can make him do just about anything and it would fit his character. Joker can be scary, but Zasz would make me shit my knickers. I'm glad you continued this series, even though this chapter was short XD
