Loving this story, and the way you're incorporating all the Riverdale characters. It really is a pity there aren't more based on the particular verse. The potential for story lines and pairings is absolutely staggering. Guess people are quick to dismiss cartoons or something that doesn't involve a hot young actor on the latest cover of some tween magazine. So much thanks for your story, especially if it's the pairing I think it is, (Betty/Reggie) I totally love those two together.
Oh and you are so right about Archie. I was actually flipping through a comic earlier today and it totally pissed me off. Archie is basically a manwhore, and Veronica is a superficial, shallow person and if I ever met either of these people in real life, I'd probably loath them. Damn these comics for being so darn readable.
Crazed rant aside, love the story and sincerely hope to see more.

I don't think you don't like Archie. You're just providing a different view of him, and it's a valid view in my opinion. They're teenagers. If this were reality, everything would not be bubblegum and happy-go-lucky, "gee, I'll get him next time, my pretty" defeat. This would be the way they talked and acted. I like the Archie comics for what they are, but part of the reason I fall in and out of love with them is because they always seem to glorify Archie's actions.

"Oh, a little female competition is healthy." There is nothing about that that would be considered even remotely cute or healthy to anyone. LOL. Okay, I'm getting off my feminist rant now. Do you. There's plenty of stories that make him look like Opie out there if people think you're not being nice enough to Archie.

Two chapters. I was in heaven. This almost transport me back to high school seriously. I'm loving all the crazy teenage drama that's going on. :-) I do have to mention, that I went to school with a couple of redheads, and for some reason whenever I think about Archie, this cute kid Chris comes to mind. Now, with Jason, the hottie redhead Judd comes to mind.

OH LAWD. You had to mention "Yo Gabba Gabba." Now, I have that "Party in My Tummy" song in my head. I just got it OUT of there! LOL.

Loved this:

Well, go ahead on, girl. LOL. I always love your portrayal of Nancy, though. Archie and Veronica, you do a good job at making me dislike them.

If there is anyone who can put Veronica in her place, it's Cheryl. That alone is worth liking her. And now I get to use my FAVORITE line ever!

once again you have this chapter done perfectly. You captured the essence of the Archie, now then, Add cheryl Blossom to the mix, man that would be funny

Ooh! An update!

“one of those shoe-throwing mothers who’d just as soon snatch you baldheaded if you rolled or cut your eyes.” - That was the TRUTH right there. I know my grandmother and aunts used that same threat. I can honestly say that I don't miss being a kid, too, and I guess I was what you'd call popular. But ugh, high school was a DRAG. This story is just so cute. I'm enjoying all the little hints of attraction that are there, even though Betty is ever focused on Archie--or at least she thinks she is. Can't wait to read more. :)

please update, this seems like a well thought out story

OMG. I knew a boy just like Reggie when I was that age, too. Guess what his name was. Reggie. I kid you not. Reggie Ray, the pastor's son, and I hated that bastard. I think this chapter just brought back all those memories I have of him when we were younger. It was just like I was seven-years-old again. Bad memories of bad Reggies aside, this chapter was so cute and endearing. I could imagine little Betty and little Reggie running around. I hope she gets him back. :p

*screams* You make me want to kill all of them, especially Veronica. Good job. Not that I don't normally feel like that about her anyway, but you just bring it out well. I'm disappointed in all of them. You expect that kind of behavior from Reggie and Veronica, but then I remember what it was like being that age. How many times had I watched someone get picked on? How many times have I been picked on without anyone backing me up. It's good not to be young anymore for that reason alone. :) Can't wait to see your updates for this.
