i just read an older fic

This is incredibly well-written! The one thing I find myself loving AFF more than FF.net is because so many writers here delve into the characters and flesh them out into something believable and full of depth. The Archie comics aren't ever deep, but you really pulled the characters into great serious roles! You managed to have the main characters very in character despite the plot twist, which makes a great and riveting read that really left me in suspense. Thanks for showing this on this site, I really had a great weekend reading and discussing it with friends.

Really have been enjoying the five chapters I've read.

Only portion I cringed at was the Aerosmith reference.

Other than that, good stuff.

Wouldn't mind a bit more descriptions, but this is more of a dialogue driven piece. Decent.

You've covered so many of the bases with this story. Midge's hermaphrodism is on point, you can see how it affects everything she does and makes her have to deal with things like problems within her family, showers in the girls room, etc. You've also managed to make Reggie, notoriously a jerk, into a sensitive person who's still confused and admits he doesn't have all the answers. I love the cast of minor characters, particularly Dilton, Ethel and Frankie, all of whom seldomly get used.

I'm glad you updated this story. It's wonderful.
