Oh my goodness, your story is just so addicting. I really get caught up in it and have to force myself to put it down in order to get anything done. I really like the way you protray the Joker. It's pretty much what id imagine him to be. And I seriously love how you express Elena's feelings. I cant wait for you to pick this back up again. I'm going crazy thinking about what's going to happen!

I love this story! At this point I'm checking in everyday to see if the next chapter is up yet. I really hope you have time to wright during the summer, you are so talented! Usually I don't have the patience for long fanfics, because I feel like there often is too much beating around the bush, but this has really kept me in suspense from chapter one!

I have to hand out some kudos here, this story is fantastic. In the sea on JokerXoc stories this one has managed to have some staying power (for me personally). I read through it the other night in one long sitting but found myself absolutely distracted at work the next day. I couldn't stop pondering everything. From the beginning with her failing to make the chicken properly to her current situation. This whole story is just so devastating. When the Joker tries to make a move on her, it always gives me a really painful twist of dread in my stomach. I'm a Joker fangirl so thats quite a feet, but you managed to really convey her feeling and force the reader to sympathise with her situation. He's repugnant and terrifying. That's not a situation anyone would want to be in. The constant beatings and temper flairs are very IC, I believe for Nolan!verse Joker when he's at home. He holds so much tension and unleashes bouts of it at his pet whenever the mood strikes.

There's some points of repeated action like her being thrown on the bed again and again and the biting his forearm, but with a story this long and a looming threat that's yet to be fulfilled, I suppose that is bound to happen. I really like the fact that you haven't done the "Joker's henchman tries to rape her and he stops them" scene because a lot of writers indulge in that and i was happy to see it not featured here. I liked that he, in fact, promised his goons the right to rape her if they caught her escaping.

I've enjoyed Elana's back story and Joker's fascinating with her scars. I thought that was a really clever bit, twisting an already damaged girl instead of going after a fresh canvas. Um, let's see. The inclusion of Jimmy Gordon made me clap my hands in delight. Its nice to see what other projects the Joker has going when he's not in the room with Elana. Speaking of the last chapter, I really loved how he walked into the bar and just took control of the whole place. His presence is toxic and most people wouldn't be so bold as to lie to him like the bartender did, I had twinge of respect for him while he lasted.

So, great story. I'll be keeping an eye on it for an update.
