Unfortunately so few Beggie fanfics out there... your story is amazing!!! Love it! Thank you so much for writing it! :)

I haven't finished reading this story yet (I'm at Chapter 25) but I am enjoying it very much. I love 'Beggie' fics and this one is great! Lots of emotional angst, smut, and what I'm guessing will be a happy ending.

One thing is reeeeeealllly bothering me though, and that's the pregnancy thing. A woman with her first pregnancy doens't actually start *showing* until about 6 months along, when she crosses that indefinable line between 'she's put on some weight' and 'she's obviously pregnant'. Of course, Veronica having twins, she might be there earlier. But at 3-4 months Betty wouldn't look pregnant, much less have enough of a bulge to require maternity clothes. Most women (particularly with a first pregnancy) don't need maternity clothes until about 7 months along. If you made Betty 6 months pregnant when she went to Lake Mahoe, that would then fit with everything. But I guess that messes your storyline since Archie and Ron are still supposed to be on their honeymoon? Maybe they're just taking some time off before having their babies? Anyhow, the rest of the story is so well done that this detail niggles at me. In the same vein, if Veronica was really about 4 months along in Lake Mahoe, it would likely be waaay too early to learn the sex of her babies. Again, that happens at about 5 months or so, when a major ultrasound takes place to check on the baby's health. It's not until this time that genetalia are well-developed enough to be able to tell.

Regardless of my pregnancy nitpicks though, I am having a great time reading this story and I'm looking forward to the rest of it.

Breast feeding is immediate at the hospital if the mother is up to it. Most of the time, as soon as the baby is cleaned up and the cord is cut, they let the baby latch on and lay against mommy's bare belly, it's good for bonding.
