Chapter sixteen is so cute. I'm glad they have some time away from their annoying besties to get to know each other better. Vicky pulling out the baby album is priceless.

I like seeing Reggie soften up toward Betty, like he's slowly realizing that yes, all these years, he really did love the wrong girl. I love the smut, I love the conflict, and I think this story works well whenever he rebounds from seeing Veronica with Archie, how his whole attitude changes, that makes this story feel very authentic.

Keep it coming.

Ouch... painful sex. Poor Betty.

It's weird to see Reggie have that visceral a reaction to the dress rehearsal after the ordeal the day before of the food tasting. I think Betty is getting to see a side of Reggie that might give her pause in falling in love with him, after all, if he doesn't straighten up.

You killed me dead with his "wish I had fallen in love with you instead" confession. It makes you want to scream and shake him, slap him a good one and say "You still COULD, man! Get your head on straight!!! Go after Betty!" I dunno. I love the idea of these two together, but Betty's in danger of a messy, codependent relationship where she constantly has to take care of him if he doesn't get his head out of his butt.

This is my favorite story that I'm reading right now. I'm so glad you gave us these updates, I stalk it for new chapters. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU.

Great chapter, I think that you really captured how much pain Reggie is in. Though I think that Betty is taking this a lot better than some women would, many would not like to be called someone else's name, but I understand that she gets his pain.

The end of the chapter hinted that some feelings might be changing. I look forward to more.

Great chapter, well worth the wait. Though it is sad to see Betty pinning for a love that she never had, and knowing that her affection is wasted on Archie, it is also understandable why the feelings are so strong. She has lived so long with the belief that she was meant to be with him that it is hard to give up. I really appreciate that it is taking time for her and Reggie to have any feelings for one another, much more natural that way. Still I do hope that in the end they are able to see that they are good for one another.

A good cry, followed by lots of sex, would be therapeutic. :)

I love this story sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much.

Betty is breaking my heart. Her misplaced love for Archie is killing me, and her self-inflicted misery is tangible in this. Reggie's ego is getting in the way of letting himself feel real affection for Betty and acknowledging a need for her that isn't just physical. Both of them are so stubborn, so I don't see an easy path to a happy ending.

The boys running off to the stag party made me snicker. I was ecstatic to see this update, thank you so much.
