I LOVE this story. I love Beggie when it's written well, and I enjoy the quirky teenage situations between the characters. Seven Minutes in Heaven crossed my mind just the other day, for some reason, and now I wish I had used it in a story. (I might still use it. :D )
Please keep updating this. The cooking show episode was cute. VERY entertaining.

Betty, the hopeless romantic, can still want Archie (or she thinks she does). I can't blv Reggie is still carrying a torch for Ronnie. Reggie will be cured of his 'love' for Ronnie as soon as he gets her.

Had been waiting! Great update! I can't believe they're not over Ron/Arch after 8 whole years! It might be believable in Betty's case but reg too.. This is interesting! Write more, soon!

I am loving it! Finally another Beggie FF! But, I never really thought Reggie 'loved' Ron. I mean he's the playboy right! And a jerk! And he was always ready to be mean to Ronnie when he had a chance. I dunno. But I like this part. Reg loved Ron once.. and he got over her! HOW? Write more. soon! Please!

I really don't like the the Reggie Mantle wiki entry. It does not do him justice, leaves out so much canon stuff that make him what he is. I edited it and added some things.

Reggie has said that, to him, having one girl is like having one potato chip, one peanut! lol. Unlike Archie, the greatest cheater in the world, Reggie is honest about his philandering.

I like the beginning :) Sure its been done before, both in Archie Comics, and in fanfics, but every writer brings more to it. I think its great :)
It never seems to me that Reggie cares anything about Ronnie. A date with Veronica Lodge is the biggest prize to be won in the dating game of Riverdale, and it means triumphing over his arch-rival Archie. Reggie loves the challenge, that's why he chases Moose's 'gurl'. But if he had Ronnie (or Midge) permanently, it wouldn't suit Reggie at all.

Great start, the story had a really nice flow to it and I am glad that you are not going to have them jump into bed together, a slower buildup is much more natural. Looking forward to the next chapter.
