"Man, this town's boring. Can't see why Raven would like to stay here." a girl with green eyes, boy-short blue hair, a black hoodie that said 'Fire and Ice' in flames and icecicles, baggy dark-blue pants, and black tennis shoes, said, walking towards the bank. Suddenly a huge explosion came from the bank. "Cool." was all she could say before she was grabbed and being carried off by a huge stone man. "Hey! Big, grey, and gruesome, let
go of me!!" All she heard was a snort before her eyes turned purple and she was out of his grasp.

Now she was floating in the air, her hands holding two black balls of flame. Cinderblock
looked at her and then ran at her, only to be knocked into the next building. Then the girl dissapeared and reapeared with a huge piece of metal in her hand. She wrapped it around Cinderblock and made sure he couldn't get away. Then the Titans came there.

The girl jumped off of Cinderblock and walked away like nothing happened. "Max?" Hearing her
name being called, she looked back to see Raven looking wide-eyed at her.
"Raven, do you know this girl?" "No dip Sherlock. She said my name didn't she?" Raven smirked at
Maxe's sarcastic remark, and said "It is you, isn't?" "Can't think of anyone else I would be."
Max said, shrugging. Raven smiled and said "You alright?" "Meh, I guess so."

"So why're you hear?" "I was looking for you, and a very special artifact." "What's this artifact?"
"Can't say."

"So, Max, where are you from?" "My home." "Hey Max, you any good at video games?"
Max opened her eyes to Beast Boys question. "Why? Tryin' to challenge me?"
Beast Boy smirked, handed her a controller, and turned on the game station. "Get ready to lose,
Beast Boy." "Not likely."

The game started, and almost instantly Max won. "Aw, man, I lost to a girl!" "Yep, and this girl is unbeatable!" "Hey, BB might of lost, but there ain't no way I'd lose to a girl!" Cyborg said, expecting a retort from Max like "Bring it, Tin-Man," but all she said was, "Yeah, keep tellin' yerself that you'll win against me. Maybe one day, it might actually happen...... Not!" Max said, waving her blue hair around.

"Oh, now you're goin' down!" In a matter of exactly 5.23 seconds, Cyborg lost. "What?!?! How could I have lost to a...a....a girl?!?!" "Don't know, maybe I'm actually better at video games than you thought!" Raven watched with Star Fire in amusement, somehow, Max hadn't changed a bit.

"I want a do-over!" "What for!?! You lose against me once, you gonna lose again!" "Says who?!?!"
"Says me!!" "Oh, yeah?!?!" "Yeah!!" "Then why don't we fight for real?! You wouldn't be so lucky then!!" "Wanna bet!?!" ""Yeah!!" "Stop!!!" Both stopped and looked at Robin. "Stop fighting, someone's gonna get hurt, and we can't afford that right now!" "Well, it wouldn't include me, 'cause I'm not even part of the Titans." Max retorted, being the stubborn thing she is. "You have a point there, but you could help us if something came up."

Just then, Max'es cell phone started to ring. She answered it, and she dissapeared along with the phone.

"Wha, who's there?" "Me." says a figure, stepping out of the shadows. "W-who're you?!" Max asked, backing away. "I, am Slade. And you, my dear girl are Maximillion Alfred Dominic Artimis
Howard Wolfe. Named after your father, one of the most powerful demons ever created. Since he could not have a son, he bestowed his title upon you. He also raised you as a boy, wich sparked your interest in girls." "How-" "Now, don't interupt, I'm not finished. Your father was good friends with Trigon, so you met Raven when you were about twelve. You instantly fell in love. Raven has not learned this yet, but she still sees you as a good friend. I'm right, am I not?" "How do you know these things?!?!!" "Why, my dear, I've known you all of your life, how could I not have known?" Slade said, grabbing her chin and bringing her face mere inches from his mask.

"Get away from me!!" Max yelled, struggling, wich earned her a slap in the mouth. "Don't dare talk to me like that!" He walked over to Max, who was curled up on the floor, and kicked her in the head, knocking her out.
