Ch 1.


Nineteen year old Betty Cooper paced her living room restlessly. Her date was due any minute. She couldn’t tell why, but she felt extremely nervous. I have been dating him for years, she thought, I don’t know why I feel so nervous about this trip. Maybe it’s because he’s taking me to his parents cottage for the weekend, and I know he really wants to go all the way.

All of their friends had lost their virginity, and Betty could feel the pressure build as every date went by. Her best friend Veronica had been having sex since she was sixteen. She constantly talked about sex, and tried to figure out why Betty wasn’t having any.

Betty heard her boyfriend’s car pull into the driveway. She grabbed her bag and rushed to the door, stopping only to check her hair in the mirror. She was very pretty, with blonde hair she liked to wear in a pony tail, and china white skin. Her blue eyes were pale and set off her soft features. She was average height, about five foot eight, and she had always managed to keep in shape.

‘Bye Mom and Dad.’ She called down the hallway, hearing their faint response before she closed the door behind her. She rushed down the front steps and jumped in the passenger seat of his car. She threw her bag in the back.

‘Well hello there beautiful,’ he greeted her, ‘Are you all ready for a weekend of fun and excitement?’ He closed his eyes and leaned in for a kiss, but instead he felt a light slap on his cheek.

‘My parents are in the front room, I just don’t want them to see the kiss and change their minds about letting me go away this weekend.’ She explained in a rush, not wanting to hurt his feelings. She thought for a second, then let an evil smile slowly spread across her face. ‘Besides, there will be plenty of time for that this weekend.’

‘Betty, my dear, you are one hundred percent correct. Let’s roll.’ The engine started with a roar, and soon they were on the highway out of town.
