His Bride
Ch 1 His Bride
Peter sat alone on his bed in his run down too small apartment room. He was starring out into the sky through the doors of his balcony. How could this have happened how could he have let the woman he had loved forever be married to anther man? The answer was an easy one he was never their when Mary really needed him he was there to save her life but not when she needed a friend or someone to talk to Peter could be none of those things as long as he was Spiderman crime fighting would have to come first it would have at least been nice to have the girl he loved to cheer him on though.
He had been concentrating so hard on the sky he thought that he had imagined the foot steps coming up from behind him. He looked down and caught Mary Jane’s reflection on window of his balcony. He turned to look at her MJ he said you shouldn’t be here. You already know why I can’t let this happen Spiderman will always I will always have enemies and if something ever happened to you because of me I don’t know if I would be able to live with myself.
MJ smiled and began to give the speech she had been practicing for some time. Peter I know there will be risks involved but I want to be there when they happen. I want to be there for you Peter. Isn’t it time that someone saved you? Peter turned to look at her. Will she said say something to me please. Thank you for giving me a second chance MJ I promise I’m going to make everything up to you. I don’t want to be an empty seat in your life anymore.
Come here said MJ opening her arms to him. Peter just couldn’t believe it he got up and crossed the room to where she stood. He through his arms around her in a tight hug. MJ put her hands on both sides of his head and turned it so she could kiss him. Wow was all Peter could think as MJ kissed him hard. They where just breaking apart when he heard the sirens in the distance. He looked MJ in the eye and she smiled at him. Go get um Tiger. Peter began pulling off his outer clothes he was already wearing the suit underneath. He pulled on the mask as he ran and jumped off of the balcony. MJ followed him outside and watched him swing off into the distance. Wow I can’t believe Spiderman’s girl she thought to herself.
Peter swung his way through the city his heart was going a mile a minute. He finally with the girl he had loved forever. He swung through the air throwing in some random flips here and there. He hadn’t had this much fun as Spiderman in such a long time up until now Spiderman had been like something weighing him down but now with MJ he felt normal as Spiderman again.
As he swung he remembered a very special night. He had just talked to MJ outside of the theater she had been auditioning for a part in a play. She took off in the other direction he was about to turn the other way when he spotted the six men who began to follow her. Not liking what he saw he decided to follow along. He ran down the nearest ally and climbed the wall to the roof. From here he could see everything that was happening below the men corned MJ down an ally with a dead end. He rushed to pull off his outer cloths he was on the roof above them. The thugs had just grabbed MJ no time for the mask he thought he shot out webs and pulled all six away as if it where nothing. Then jumped down after them they surrounded him. One throw a punch he easily dodged it and struck the man in the face he fell like a sack of potatoes. Two others charged him at once and he ran at them and through out his arms he caught them both in the throats knocking them to the ground. Three left not waiting for the thugs to act he ran up and punched one in the face. He used the mans body to do a flip as he crumpled to the ground he landed the flip with both his fists sinking into the last to thugs faces. He looked around to make sure they where all down. Then he turned toward MJ she started to move toward him ran between to buildings. Wait he heard MJ call out from behind him. He pulled on his mask and lowered himself down to her. You have a knack for getting into trouble. You have a thing for saving my life. I think I have a superhero stalker. I was in the neighborhood he replied. You’re amazing she said. A lot of people don’t think so he said back. But you are she said. It’s always nice to have one fan he replied. Do I get a chance to say thank you this time she asked?
He wasn’t sure what to say to that. He saw her hands come up to his mask wait a minuet he said. He moved his head back but her hands followed and then she was rolling down the front of his mask. She stopped once she reached his noise her hands grabbing his head pulling him toward her. Then she pressed her lips to his and he was seeing stars. His first kiss with the girl he had loved for so long. It wasn’t exactly the way he would have planned but he was sure he would never forget it. His mask was suddenly back on all the way and he shot himself into the air with his webs.
There you are he had finally found the cause of the disturbance an armored car was being chased by a number of police cars. He swung down to the street below landing on top of the armored car with ease. What was that one of the robbers inside the armored car heard a loud thump on the top of the car? He looked over at his partner you don’t think it’s him do you? There question was answered for them as a fist came through the roof of the car. A figure bent back the steel both thugs took aim. Before they could shoot Spiderman had shot out to webs and pulled both guns out of their hands. He leaped inside the truck and hit the first thug who fell into the sacks of cash with a groan. The second one pulled out a knife. Lets see how you handle a blade he yelled and jumped toward Spiderman. Who easily moved out the way and watched the thug run head long into the steal wall and join his partner on the floor. They never do learn Peter said to himself and jumped back out of the hole in the roof. He landed on the cab of the truck and began to peel it back and was about to grab the guy sitting behind the wheel when he yelled I surrender. Stop the truck said Spiderman. The man stopped the truck Pete grabbed him and through him through the air as he fell he shot a web the thug landed on it and got stuck.
MJ sat on Peter’s bed waiting for him to return. When the door to the apartment suddenly opened behind her. She turned around and saw a blond girl standing in the doorway. Who are you the words flew out of her mouth. I’m Rachel said the girl I live across the way I thought Peter was in she said looking at the open doors to the balcony. No he’s not here right now MJ replied. Rachel looked at her then you shouldn’t be here renters aren’t aloud to have guests when there not home. I wouldn’t make a big deal but Pete’s already behind on rent and I don’t want him in anymore trouble. Ok fine then said MJ let just get my things together and I’ll leave. MJ got up and started to put on her coat she pulled out a pen and a piece of paper.

MJ walked over to Peter’s desk and set the note on top of it where he would be sure to see it. Then went over to the balcony doors and closed them making sure that they where unlocked so Pete could get back inside. Then she left the apartment making sure the other door was locked when she left. She was going to have to talk to Peter about leaving his door unlocked what if she hadn’t been their and the girl had gone looking around and found one of the costumes?
30 Minutes Later
Peter dropped back down onto his balcony to find the doors closed. He walked up and turned the knob it was still unlocked. He stepped inside the room he looked around the room and didn’t spot MJ. He headed over to the other door and made sure it was locked before he started to change out of the suit he was all sweaty. I need a shower he thought to himself. He was pulling on a bath robe when he spotted a note on his desk. He picked it up and read it. Then set it back down before grabbing a towel and heading out for the shower. Pete her heard his name being called as he closed the door behind him. He turned and saw Rachel headed towards him. So I take it that was the famous Mary Jane your always talking about that was in your room? Yes it was her said Pete thanks for that telling your father. No problem said Rachel and by the way she said I would try to be gone with in the next hour if I was you Pete my father will be home and he’ll be out for your blood you are late on your rent again. Thanks for the tip said Pete and started heading for the showers once again.

He flexed his muscles in front of it hard to believe just months ago he had been a skinny and weak geek that spider bite had really transformed him. He headed over to the shower and turned the water on and played with it till he found the right temperature. He slid off the pair of boxer shorts he was wearing and slipped into the shower. Yep things where defiantly looking up in the world of Peter Parker.
