Dating blues

The girls were cleaning up when Starfire's titan's com started going off. sighing, Starfire went to go open it, but Jinx tugged on her arm. "I'm sure, whatever it is, the other titans can handle it." Jinx said softly. Starfire was redressed in her uniform, while Jinx wore a extra long t-shirt over one of her diapers. She was diapered again, because she had been planning on dragging Starfire into bed, and catching some z's. Starfire looked unsure for a second, but in the end drew her hand away from the com.

"You are correct. They can handle this one without me."

"Damnit! C'mon and answer!" Cyborg swore.

"If she's not answering...." Beast boy said tentatively.

"We have to assuyme the worse." Raven finished. The Titans looked at each other, not believing what they were saying.

"Why are we wasting time here, anyways? Let's go!" Beast boy said.

"Do you happen to know where Jinx lives?" Raven snapped. Beast boy started to open his mouth, but stopped. "Thats right, she never told us. Cyborg, how long would it take to track her down?" Raven asked.

" Five minutes minimum." Cyborg said as his finger flew across the keyboard.

"What? But I thought all of our coms had a tracker in them?" Beast boy whined.

"They were designed that way, but then the city installed a new power grid. It messed with the trackers. So back off, and let me work." Cyborg snapped.

Nightwing leapt from rooftop to rooftop, cackling like a madman. He knew where Starfire was; He made it his business to know where ex-cons were living in his city. He landed on a roof across from the apartment building Jinx lived in, and took a couple of seconds to catch his breath. Taking out some specially-prepared birdarangs, Nightwing admired their sharpness. They could, and would, slice Starfire neatly. The thought of tasting her blood made his heart beat in his chest. "Just like how she used to make my lighter side feel: before the hurt; the betrayal which lead to me." He took out his grappling hook, and shot a line over, and slid over towards Jinx's apartment, heading straight for her living room window.

Starfire took Jinx by the hand, and led her out to the lving room. "Let us enjoy your cleaned apartment, and watch a movie." Starfire said with a grin.

"Ok, but I wish ya wouldda told me we were watching a movie. I would have changed out of my protection." Jinx said with a blush. Starfire smiled and brushed Jinx's hair away from her face, and went to say something, but was interrupted as Jinx's window exploded, and Nightwing came through. He rolled with the impact, and came up on one knee.

"Hello ladies." he said with a wicked smirk.

"Robin?" Starfire asked, alarmed.

"That train came and went, along with my light side. I have a darker purpose now, and thus, a darker name. Call me: Nightwing." He said, rising to his feet. Jinx started to storm towards him.

"Whatever bird boy, listen you owe me for that wi-" Jinx never finished, as Night sent her back with a snap kick. "Oh, please, shut up." He snarled.

Starfire shot forward, and caught Jinx. She looked at Nightwing, eyes glowing, enraged. "What is the meaning of this?" She yelled.

"Didn't the Titans warn you? Or were you too busy at the time?" Nightwing asked with a look of disgust. "I'm the part of Robin that wants to kill and hurt people. I'm the part of him that would love to work for Slade. Poor Robbie-poo went nutso again; but you weren't there to help him this time! He went to Raven for help and she made things worse, hence, I was born."

Starfire's eyes lost their energy as she looked at Nightwing in horror. "You jest! Or perhaps this is another attempt to trick Slade!" She cried in alarm.

"No. I am the evil part of Robin. I'm the dark feeling that rose in him when he worked for Slade. I'm the murderdous rage that has wanted to strike you, beat you, rage against you, ever since you dumped me. I am evil in human form. And I shall kill you both." Nightwing whipped out one of the razor sharp birdarands, but Starfire caught it easily with a blast. She placed Jinx on the couch behind her, as the witch was still trying to shake the cobweds free. Starfire's eyes lit up as her hands glowed, and she growled.

"I will not let you harm my girlfriend." Starfire spat.

"I don't remember asking for permisson." Nightwing smirked and started to whip out a mixture of birdarangs and exploding discs; working so quickly that Starfire was hard-pressed to block them all. She was having a hard time seeing through the smoke that was building up in the room from the discs. Nightwing grinned and took out a specail razor Birdarang, and whipped it messily, so that it didn't go even close to Starfire, so she igored it, not seeing that once it was behind her, it turned and started heading for her back.

Jinx shook off the cobweds, and became alarmed to see the birdarang flying at her girlfriend. She leaped towards Starfire, and knocked her to the ground as the birdarang, from behind, sliced her deep, just under her left arm. It just missed vital oragans, while one of the other ones Nightwing had been tossing came and sliced into her thigh. Starfire looked up in horror as her beloved was sliced, all to save her. Jinx fell into the floor with a thud, and started to sceam while Nightwing laughed and reached for another birdarang or disc. He found that he was out. "Sorry to eat and run," He smirked. "Kill ya next time." Nightwing said with a mock-bow, removing a grappling hook, and firing it before swinging away.

Starfire brought Jinx to her, and looked over the witch with tears in her eyes. "Beloved, are you all right?" Starfire asked.

Jinx gasped in pain, but pointed to a closet. "G-get two towels and wraps t-these wounds or I'll bleed to death." she instructed. Starfire did as she was told and, watched in fear as the white towels became scarlet with blood quickly.

"I need to take you to a doctor!" Starfire cried.

"N-no. Get me your com. I'll call the Titans, and they'll help me. G-get Bird Boy, before he hurts any one else." Jinx whimpered. Starfire got Jinx the com, and took one last look at her beloved. It felt wrong to leave Jinx bleeding, but Nightwing had to pay.

Jinx watched Starfire leave, and flipped open the com. "T-Titans? Come in." Jinx said weakly. She got an image of Raven in a car.

"Jinx! Thank God! What's going on?" Raven asked.

"Bird Boy was here. Tried to kill us. Starfire's fine, not so sure about myself..." Jinx started, and coughed, "I've got deep cuts and i'm bleeding badly. Starfire is trying to stop bird bo-" Jinx's hand fell back, and the com with it as she passed out.

Raven yelled at her as Cyborg pushed the T-car a little harder. Tameranians are a warrior race. Their powers come from their emotions, and they also make deep bonds with those they love, and when one of them are hurt, then the wrath that results from it is quite a scary sight.

Starfire zoomed down the street, eyes and hands glowing as she yelled for Nightwing. "Come out and face me, you coward!" She screamed as she zoomed past a building, and a dark shadow jumped from it and landed feet first on starfire's back, driving the girl into the street below. Before she hit the ground, Nightwing flipped back off of her and took out his bo.

"What's wrong? Mad 'cause I killed your little girlfriend? Feeling loney? Now you know how I felt! Only you'll be given mercy, as I won't let you live much longer."

"ENOUGH!" Starfire got up and dashed towards Nightwing, intending to crush his head, but he stuck his bo in the ground and did a hand stand while using it, taking him out of her grasp as she zipped back; then when back onto his feet.

"Strong, able to fly, starbolts... Those are your powers. However you are amazingly sloppy, as a fighter. With all the times I've trained with you, I know all of your weak spots." Nightwing stated. Starfire growled and zoomed back towards him. Nightwing stood his ground, and then he pulled his bo staff out of the ground and flipped backwards. Starfire grinned, thinking he'd put himself right into her path, then she notice his bo staff coming down, and she barely manage to dodge most of it, though her arm was smacked and burned in pain. "My turn."

Starfire turned towards Nightwing as he leapt towards her, and started swinging his bo at her wildly. She dodged the blow, and grasped onto the bo, and swung it away, sending him right into a hotdog stand. she grinned and was about to charge, when he lifted his head and smiled, and pressed a button on his belt. Then the bo became alive with eleticity, frying Starfire, before she could toss the bo away. She fell to her knees, rubbing her arm. Nightwing pressed the button again, and the bo became safe to hold. He picked it up. "Robin...how can you do this to me?" Starfire whispered as he walked towards her.

"I told you." he swung the bo, smacking her across the face with it, sending her reeling. "I'm not Robin." She lay on the ground, her nose bloodied. Nightwing pressed the bo across her throat, and sat on top of her, trying to stangle her with the staff. "Robin loved you. Robin wanted you to be happy. Robin was a weak fool." Nightwing pressed harder and Starfire's vison swam. Maybe she deserved this. Maybe she should just go into the darkness... "Thats it, a few more seconds and you'll be dead. Then I'll go back and finish off Jinx." Nightwing whispered in her ear.

Starfire's half closed eyes opened, and she growled as she shoved Nightwing off, hard enough to making him land quite a few feet back. "You will not harm my beloved!" Starfire gasped, starting to fire starbolt after starbolt, but Nightwing seemed able to dodge them with ease.

"Careful Starfire, innocent people live here!" Nightwing called. Starfire gasped, and cut off her attack as a panting Nightwing stood in front of her. "I was running out of steam. A few more minutes and you would have gotten me. You're too soft." Nightwing said, grinning gleefully until he spotted the T-car pull up, and Beast boy and Cyborg get out.

"Where my savor? Ah, trying to save Jinx's life!" Nightwing said with a smirk.

"Give it up,Robin, you're not going anywhere." Cyborg said, forming his cannon.

"For the last time: the name is NIGHTWING!" He yelled. He then went back to smiling. "Maybe another time titans." Nightwing threw his bo staff into a transport truck's tank, and held a hand over the button on his belt. "Here's the deal: you let me walk and I don't push the button, which would cause my bo to charge up and make that truck explode in an accident that would claim many lives." His smile was unwavering. "Deal?"

Starfire wanted to charge Nightwing, but Cyborg held her back. "Deal." Nightwing kicked a sewer cover and jumped down into the sewers before the cover could land. Beast Boy quickly pulled the bo out of the tank, just as the titans wondered how they were going to stop Rob-- Stop Nightwing.

"That was too close. I need something to make me able to stand up to them and--" Nightwing muttered, running through the sewers, then he smiled as he thought of how he could do it. "I think it's time to re-visit the Red X design."

Jinx lay in Starfire's bed, her cuts were stitched up. "But why did you not heal them all the way?" Starfire questioned.

"I can't. My healing magic doesn't work very well on other witches. But I managed to stop the bleeding, and stitch her up. She won't be able to walk for a while, and I suggest she stay in bed. usually this is a problem; since there's always the whole bathroom thing, but since she wears diapers anyways I think it would just make sense to have her go in those." Raven said.

"I will explain this to her." Starfire said. She was quiet, and looked at Raven for a long minute.

"He doesn't know what he's doing." Raven said, finally. "It was like when my father made you all fight your dark halves. That'ss what Robin is doing."

"But he is a dark side made from my actions." Starfire said sadly. Before Raven could reply, Starfire went into her room, and look at the sleeping form of Jinx. She smiled softly before sliding into bed with her, being extra careful not to hurt the girl, as she gave her hug.

It was all over the news. A new villian in town called 'Nightwing' was taking on the Titans. It was noted that Robin was missing, though his name was said to be mentioned several times during the fight. The media speculated that this 'Nightwing' had attacked the Boy Wonder. Two men watched this in seperate lairs of darkness.

The first smiled behind his mask. He could never mistaken Robin's fighting style. He vaguely wondered if this was another plot to draw his attention, and decided to sit back and see where this went.

The other, in a cave far away from Jump City look at the news in horror. His mask was flung back over his cape as he mouth the word. An alarm beeped on his computer, telling him what he already knew, as he glanced at it briefly; that Wayne Enterprises in Jump City was being robbed. "Master bruce, are you..." Alfred started, then stared at the sceen, drop-jawed.
"Get me a line with the Titans. NOW!" Bruce Wayne, AKA the Batman yelled. Alfred ran off to go get ahold of the tower, while Bruce froze the fight scene that some guy with a camcorder had taped. "Dick...Son....No..."
