Dating blues

It wasn't a pretty conversation. Raven and Cyborg explained as well as they could to the Batman what was going on, and he didn't seem to like what he was hearing. "And what made you think going into his head was a good thing?" Batman hissed.

"Look, he asked me for my help, and I gave it too him. You're not the only one worried about him." Raven said though gritted teeth. Batman blinked and dropped his furious look.

"You're right... I'm just worried about him. But...he asked me to stay out of his life, and I'm going to try and honor those wishes. I'm giving you guys a chance to handle this yourselves." Batman took a deep breath and sighed. Cyborg had never seen the Batman look so concerned before.

Robin had told him about the fight that had lead to him leaving the Batcave, and starting the Titans. He had believed that Batman's methods were overkill, and too violent. Batman had insisted that since both of them were powerless, they had to be cruel. They had fought back and forth until the day he had left. He started the Titans, and Batman joined the Justice League.

"Just to warn you, there's been several robberies at Wayne enterprises in Jump City. Only tech has been stolen." Batman stopped and pressed a button on his computer, and the Titans got a list of things that had been stolen. "If you compare them all, you'll notice that it's the pieces needed to make another suit like the Red X one. However, I don't believe he'll be powering it with Xinothium this time, as that would be predictable, and you could just guard your city's only supply."

Cyborg had to agree. Since becoming Nightwing; their leader was anything but predictable. "If this is too much for you...if you need any help..." Batman trailed off, as if he relized how human he sounded.

"We'll call for your help." The com line was shut off, as the Titans were left to figure out what the hell to do now.

The remaining members of the Hive Five lived in a warehouse, curseing their bad luck. It was common knowledge that it was Jinx who had kept them in battle shape, and they hadn't won a single fight since she left the team. Billy Numerous and Kid Wicked were playing checkers with Mammoth to take on the winner, while Gizmo tried to fix the TV with See-More's help. "Man you guys are taking forever." Mammoth complained. The teen giant got up and walked towards the door, reaching in his pocket for a package of smokes.

"Hey! You better not be smoking, they'll crust your lungs, and we'll never win a fight." Gizmo yelled.

"Ah, shup up Shorty, we haven't won a fight lately, anyways." Mammoth grumbled as he stuck a cools in his mouth and walked out into the cold night, fumbling for a lighter.

"Ah, don't tell me I forgot it." The giant grumbled.

"Need a light?" The voice came from above Mammoth, and he looked up in time to meet Nightwing's boot. Mammoth stumbled back as Nightwing landed on the ground.

"You nuts? Attacking the Hive Five in our turf?" Mammoth yelled.

"But I brought presents." Nightwing said with a smirk. He whipped a small silver ball with a small red glass that was deem the top of the ball. It contracted with Mammoth's arm, and four 'arms' sprang out of it, and wrapped itself around his arm. Mammoth went to tear it.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Nightwing said. Mammoth looked up. Who was this clown anyways? He moved like birdboy from the Titans, and had the same kind of build, but the costume was wrong. "It's a bomb. If you remove it, it'll explode, killing you." Nightwing said. By this point, the rest of the Hive had been drawn outside by Mammoth's yelling. As each one came out, they got a bomb thrown onto their arm. "Isn't this great? We all have exploding friendship bracelets." Nightwing said with a chuckle.

Billy growled and split into three, he was dismayed to find that all three of him had the bracelet on. They went back together as Billy let out an 'Ah shucks'.

"Next person to try and take their bracelet off kills you all." Nightwing said.

They all stopped and looked at Nightwing, anger on their faces. "Who the frick are you, and what do you want?" Gizmo asked. Nightwing frowned.

"You must not watch the news. I am Nightwing, the new badest villian in town. And you all just got drafted to help me. Here's how it's going to work: you do as I say, or you blow up. Take the bracelets off, and you blow up. Try and attack me..." Nightwing trailed off.

"And we blown up." See-More said gloomly.

"Your a quick study. Your task is to simply keep the Titans busy for me, while I build myself a toy. You can kill any of the Titans, except Starfire and Raven. You kill either of them, and you will be blown up." Nightwing said, deadly serious.

"Why not them? Got a crush on them?" Billy asked with a grin. The smile slipped off his face as nightwing looked at him with his cold masked eyes, and walked to him, the other Hive members moving out of the way.

"Help him, and you get blown up. And Billy, feel free to fight back, but don't use your power." Nightwing struck out with a fist into Billy gut, making him bend over, then brought his knee up into billy's face, bloodying Billy's nose as he was flung back. Nightwing caught him by the back of the head, and slammed his face into the ground. Billy whimpered, and tried to pick himself up as he spit out a tooth. He looked up at Nightwing's scowling face, shaken. "This is the most important lesson for all of you. I will not tolerate smartasses. Next time, Billy, I'm blowing you up. You have your assignment. Wait 30 minutes, then attack." Nightwing shot a grappling hook, and was gone, leaving the Hive wondering what they got themselves into.

Jinx slowly woke up, her leg and her left side were killing her. She felt weak from her loss of blood, and looked over and smiled at the sleeping form of Starfire next to her. She tried to sit up, to clear her head. She gasped in pain as she started to rise, and slammed back onto the bed. Starfire groaned on the bed next to her, and slowly opened her eyes. "Morning, Sunshine." Jinx said. "Well, actually, it's still night, but you get the idea." Starfire looked at Jinx, her bottom lip trembling.

"Starfire? Are you ok?" Jinx asked.

"I am fine. It was you who was injured. I have talked to Raven, and found out much." Starfire said slowly. Jinx looked at Starfire with a look of confusion on her face, before remembering Nightwing claiming that he had been created because of something involving Raven.

"Go on." Jinx said.

"I have caused this. Raven was trying to fix Robin because I had hurt him. I am responsible for the monster that has tried to kill my girlfriend, and I have trapped one of my best friends within his own darkness. I am-" Starfire was going to go on, bring herself down, when Jinx put a finger on Starfire's lips.

"Starfire, listen to me. This may seem like it's all your fault, but just shut up, and listen to my voice. You didn't know this would happen. What happend to Robin was a mistake. I made the choice to take those blades for you. None of this was your fault." Jinx said firmly. Starfire looked at Jinx in shock, before smiling and catching her in a hug, though being carful not to hurt the girl. "I take it that's what you needed to hear?" Jinx teased, running her hands through Starfire's hair. The pale witch then blushed, as she felt pressure on her bladder.

"Er, Starfire, you need to get off of me, and tell me exactly where your guys bathroom is." Jinx said. Starfire got off of Jinx, but was blushing and tapping her two index fingers together, and looking down at the bed.

"Er..about that..." Starfire started.

Beast boy was awoken from his power nap by Jinx's voice, screaming a very loudly, "What!" He sat up in his bed, gasping, as he looked around. "Thats ok, I didn't need that heart..." He said. His body's adreneline pumped now, so he got up and went to go meet Raven and Cyborg in the living room. They were eating cold pizza, while checking a map of the city, hoping for Nightwing to show himself.

"Do we have a plan yet?" Raven started to answer, but was interrupted by a yelping Starfire as she ran into the room.

"Jinx has voiced her displeasure in your plan to have her just go in her diaper." Starfire said, looking at Raven. She then looked at Cyborg. "You will be able to make some slight repairs to my room on a later date, yes?" Beast Boy just kinda stood there, confused by Starfire as Cyborg told her that it wouldn't be any problem.

"Beast Boy, in answer to your question, I do have a plan. Jinx and I shall go over my book in an attempt to find a spell to reverse this. You guys will go and try and catch Nightwing, before he hurts someone else." Raven said.

"But, just meditating with you brought this out of him in the first place. Why don't you just do that again?" Beast Boy asked.

"Because, I don't think Nightwing is exactly going to want to sit down with me, and have a nice little meditation session with me, in order to let his light side out." Raven said.

"Oh...yea." Raven walked out of the room, and headed for her own, already thinking of what books would be needed for this, while Beast boy, Starfire and Cyborg made their way to the T-car, ready for a long night, and packing the car with pop and candy to help them stay awake.

"We'll search until midnight. After that, we're going back and getting some sleep. That gives us 5 hours of search time."

Jinx was fuming at herself and at Starfire. Damn it! She knew it made sense that she should just go, but after all of this time of trying to control herself and getting to the bathroom it seemed like a poor joke that she was now expected to go in a diaper. She asked Starfire to leave, not out of anger, but mostly because she wasn't exactly comfortable with wetting and changing a diaper infront of her. She was just taping on a new one, when she heard a knock on the door. Tossing the used diaper into a trash can and pulling the blanket up over herself, she yelled "Come in!" Spotting Raven with a couple of books, Jinx sighed. "I swear, if you're going to try and read to pass the time..." she threatened.

"Cute. But incorrect. I'm here with reading material for you." Raven tossed two very big books down on the bed. "You've had lots of pratice with magic outside of your jinxes, and your bed ridden anyways, so I figured that you can help me look for a spell to stop Nightwing." Raven said.

"...beats staring up at the wall and doing nothing." Jinx said as she picked up a book and groaned.

"What?" Raven asked, rolling her eyes. "You never told me these books would be in Latin."

"You never asked. Can you read and translate Latin?"

"Yeah, but it's gonna be a pain." Jinx grumbled.

"Once you finished scanning through those, I'll make sure the next two are English." Jinx shot Raven a dirty look, but she was already reading by that point, and Jinx smiled, and started the annoying process of translating the Latin, and then making out the spells.

They were actually driving by the bank when Beast Boy spotted Kid Wicked teleporting with money outside of the bank. He spotted the Titans, and his eyes went wide as he dropped the money, and disappeared. "Just what we didn't need." Cyborg grumbled as he parked the T-car. They made their way into the bank, and spotted the usual rabble. That's when Cyborg noticed the silver ball wrapped around each of their arms.

"What's with the friendship bracelet?" Beast Boy taunted. Gizmo growled.

"It's freaking one of Nightwing's tricks. The Snot-Knight jumped us, and put these on us and we gotta do as he says or BOOM." Beast Boy's eyes went wide.

"Holy crap..I didn't think he would..."

"Yeah, well, it seems you thought wrong. Big surprise there. Now we gotta slow you guys down for him."

"Look, we don't have to do this. Just tell us were he is, and we'll stop him before you can get hurt." Cyborg said. Gizmo let out a snort as See-More replied.

"Man, he took off after telling us to take on you guys. We don't know where he is. And yeah, we gotta do this." Cyborg formed his cannon, while Starfire's eyes and hands glowed, and Beast Boy took on his Gorilla form.

Gizmo brought out his spider legs with guns on the top, while Mammoth cracked his knuckles. See-more put a hand to his visor, ready to use his eye powers, while Billy made 5 more copies of himself, and the six of them smiled and waved. Kid Wicked, ever true to his character, didn't say anything.

"TITANS.." Cyborg started.

"HIVE FIVE.." Gizmo started.

"GO!" Both leaders said in unison. The battle began.
