You're Hypnotic

The soft buzzing of her alarm clock was the next thing that awoke Raven. After turning it off, she sat up and stretched a bit, a smile still on her face. "God, that was a great night..." She said as she let her arms fall into her lap, "wet dreams are few and far between with me... even less is one that has Beast Boy being the main star..."

After getting out of bed, Raven started to go to her dresser, but paused, "Hmm... why was Beast Boy there... usually its some generic guy..." Thinking for a few moments, she mentally shrugged, "maybe it was because of him being on top of me durring that mission. Bah, I'll examine this quirk some other time, why ruin the beginning good day by going over it too much."

Finishing the short trip to the dresser, she opened the top drawer and grabbed a towel for her morning shower. She was about to grab a leotard, but stopped. "Im not planning on going anywhere today, and usually there isn't an incident two days in a row..." Nodding to confirm her decision, she closed the top drawer and opened the bottom drawer. Grabbing a matching pair of night shorts and shirt she made her way out of her room and down the hall toward the showers.

After throwing her sticky night pants and shirt into the hamper and turning the shower to the correct temprature, Raven entered the shower and let the soothing water wash over her. Soaping up a wash cloth she started to wash off the sweat and dried juices off of her. Cleaning the... more sensitive... parts of her body, brought back images of the dream she had last night, bringing with it a small smile and blush. She was half tempted to mimic her dream Beast Boy's actions, but decided against it. 'The others will probably be up soon, don't want to be caught in the act, especially Starfire. She'd probably wonder about it and want me to show her how to do it... ...'

After finishing her shower and putting on her change of night cloths, Raven headed back to her room. "Ok... now then, time to pick out a few books while I wait for Cyborg to wake up and get breakfast around for everyone." After looking up and down her shelves a couple of times, and selecting a few books of poetry and short stories, she headed back out of her room and toward the commons. Setteling down on the couch and getting herself comfortable, Raven opened one of her books and began to read.

---- A few hours later ----

The woosh of air let Raven know someone had come into the room, and the large footfalls let her know who had come into the Room. Closing her book and standing, Raven started to walk toward the kitchen table, a "Mourning Cyborg" was said to let him now she was there.

"Hey Raven, were you okay last night? My audio systems recorded a scream in the night and it sounded like you... Nightmare again?" He asked as he got out a package of bacon and a carton of eggs.

"I quess some would call it that." she grinned at her statement, but hid it before Cyborg could see. "Don't worry Cyborg, Id have woken everyone up if it had been serious."

"Good to hear you doing ok..."

Another woosh, and a "Hello friends!" let the two know that Starfire had entered the commons. "Ah, it is a great day today isn't it friends..." She said with a small smile on her face.

"You and Robin 'celebrated' your capture of Control Freak yesterday, Star?" Cyborg asked grinning.

Starfire blushed a bit, "I... guess you could say that..."

"Well Im glad you two finally got together... any more empathy about you two wanting each other I was about to throw you in a closet just to get some ease of mind." Raven said to Star, smiling to show she didn't mean it, well... most of it.

Another woosh, "Hey Cy, Star..." Beast Boy made his presence known, his voice clearly showing a bit of depression, but mostly he just went over and sat down at the table next to Raven.

"Is something the matter Beast Boy?" Starfire asked, concern showing on her face as she floated close to her friend.

"Kind of... oh hey Rae..." He said as he got back up and headed toward the kitchen.

Beast Boy cringed then as he realized what he just said. Both Cyborg and Star's faces fell, all of them knew where this routine enough, Beast Boy would say that, then the argument would start, Raven would reply...

"Hey BB..."

Everone paused for a moment, then turned to look at Raven. "What?" She asked as she looked at all three of them.

"Um... you sure your feeling alright Raven?" Cyborg said as he forgot about his eggs and bacon for a second.

"Yeah..." she said, stressing it to show she was also asking why...

"It um... just seems weird... You normally dont like me calling you Rae..." Beast Boy said timidly

"And you usually refer to him only as the 'Beast Boy'..." Starfire added.

Raven shrugged, "BB seemed down so I didn't wat to stress him any more. If you want I guess we could argue..."

"No no... thats okay." Beast Boy hesitated a bit before finally turning to Cyborg. "Um Cy, could you... make me a small portion of bacon and a overeasy egg?"

Now it was Ravens turn to stop with everyone and look at him. "You call me not yelling at you weird, but then you go and ask that..." She said in a bit of disbelief.

"I... have to agree with Raven with this one BB, whats wrong?" Cyborg questioned.

Starfire gasped "The Beast hasn't returned has it!" she stated in worry.

"No... I, just got back from my anuall physical. Apparantly, my body's metabolism is starting to work faster after I went to puberty, thanks to all of my animal forms taxing it, tofu isn't providing enough to keep my body functioning normally and healthy, I basically would have to be eating it every hour of every day, and unfortuneatly being a super hero doesn't mean I get to have an all day lunch. So I have to start eating some meats in order to keep my energy up. Im not saying Im starting to eat at the Sirloin Buffet, but chicken eggs seem ok, and after watching that documentary about pigs and the mafia...' Beast Boy cringes again, 'I decided that bacon would be alright too..."

"Your going to be okay right?" Asked Raven also concerned.

"Yeah yeah, I'll be fine, I just have to eat some meat to keep my body in top shape." Cyborg put a plate in front of him, and Beast Boy soon realized SAYING he'd eat meat and doing it was two different things, he brought up a piece of bacon and bit down, chewing a bit, then swallowing, "eh... I could get used to it..." he shrugged and took another bite.

--- few minutes later---

After breakfast, (with Beast Boy feeling a bit nautious with this new style of grease in his stomach), the Titans went about their daily morning activities. Starfire went back to check on Robin, who had not come out of his room for breakfast, since she didn't come back for about thrity minutes the team just gave knowing glances and continued on their business. Cyborg and Beast Boy playing their Gamestation, with Raven reading.

Well trying to read, she caught herself glancing up at Cyborg and Beast Boy playing games and she felt... jealous? 'No matter what happens between them, everything evaporates when that machine gets turned on and they start playing against each other... Beast Boy and Me? Well, thats different all-together, if they get into a fight they usually have to not see each other for about a day, and even then they just start to acknowledge each other... Im going to change that.'

Waiting till Cybrog finally got tired of playing and leaving the room, Raven walked over to Beast Boy and sat down with him. "Beast Boy?"

"Yeah Rae?" He said as he continued to play the gamecube on solo campaign.

"I was thinking... would you want me to get you a book you'd like, so that we could read together?"

Beast Boy paused for a minute before answering "Why would you do that Rae, you know that I'm not really... literaturely minded."

Raven noded "I know, it's just, there is not much we have in common, I thought maybe if I got a book you'd like, we'd have something to talk about with each other."

Beast Boy smiled a bit. "You know, I think I'd like that..."

Raven smiled back, "Good, I'm going to head over to my local bookstore now..." She got up to get ready, but stopped. "Beast Boy... what did pigs and the mafia have to do with you eating bacon?"

"Well, Raven, you know that phrase, 'As greedy as a pig'?"

Raven noded.

"Well it came about because the mafia would leave pigs half starved, then, after killing someone and removing the said someones teeth, they would throw it to the pigs, and the pigs would eat it and with they would digest everything, basically disposing the body, thats how 'greedy as a pig' came about. I say if pigs could eat humans without remourse, I think eating them is alright too."

Raven stood there for a minute, "You have a strange... strange mind Beast Boy..."

Beast Boy grinned as he went back to his games, "And you love it Rae..."

Ravens cheeks blushed a bit, before turning and heading toward her room to change.

Yell at me if you want about me making Beast Boy having to change his Vegan status, but hey Raven is changing, so shouldn't Beast Boy change as well? And as stated hes Not going all carnivore, he still eats tofu but has to eat a big of meat as well. Anyway, review if you love it, have constructive criticism about it, but dont if your going to flame. If you do, I will have to bring out the fire hose won't I.
