Hold My Hand
Beast Boy jerked his head from side to side looking for a place to sit. Finally, he let his eyes settle on a spot on the bed next to where Raven was seated. He pushed through the mess in between him and the bed and took a seat beside Raven, never taking his eyes away from hers. "What is it that we gotta talk about Rae? What's up?"
Raven continued to stare long and hard and BB. She was searching for the right way to tell him all that she new. She had made up her mind long ago that she was going to tell him everything that he needed to know, and quite possibly, she might be able to save him.
"Has anything different happened to you lately?" She asked in an unimpressive monotone voice.
"Wha...what do you mean Rae?" Beast Boy was taken back by her perception. Indeed, things had been different, but not to the point where anyone should have noticed. He had been having the weird daydreams, but he had always been a daydreamer, so that wasn't unusual.
"Have you seen anything different, have their been any changes with you recently?" Raven was already getting impatient, BB could tell that easy. Her eyes were like cold drills, tearing away his mental defenses, meager as they were.
"Nothing really uncommon Rae. Why are you asking me anyway, is there something important you wanna tell me?" asked with the slightest bit of hope in his whimpering voice. BB new he had gone to far once the last word had left his lips and he saw the faint spark of anger within his cold, pale friend.
"What I am talking about is life or death so if you would please follow along it would be for the best, alright?" Raven spat as she let her emotions get the slightest hold over her. The room seemed to tremor as she voiced her request.
Beast Boy looked around the room and saw a book that had been teetering on the edge of a shelf fall to the floor. As the book landed, he jerked his eyes back to Raven.
"Life or death? What in hell are you talking about?"
"Your Dead!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. Raw emotion unleashed, the very foundation of the tower shook with the explosion the ensued. Raven jumped strait to her feet and grasped the sides of her head as a single tear ran down her cheek.
"You...you died...
