Innocense lost

The three hour trip seemed to fly by for Betty. They always knew when the other wanted to talk, or just sit contentedly in a comfortable silence. They both felt excited when the dark blue mustang convertible pulled into the long sloping driveway.



The cottage was beautiful, it had logs on the outside to make it look rustic, even though his parents had built it last summer. It sat on a large wooded lot, which hid them from any neighbours, and even the road. It sat about one hundred feet away from the water where a wooden deck floated lazily.



‘Wow,’ Betty breathed , ‘This is amazing.’



Her boyfriend pulled her close to him for a long gentle kiss. When they broke away, he noted that Betty’s cheeks had flushed. He had a feeling that by the end of the weekend he would get to see more parts of her flush that same colour pink. He lead her by the hand to the front door, and after unlocking it, he pulled her inside.



The interior was decorated with pine, the floors, walls and ceiling. There was a dark green throw rug in the middle of the living room. The couches were a light shade of green and looked extremely comfortable. The kitchen adjoined the living room, and the open concept made it possible to carry on a conversation when talking to someone in the other room. The kitchen had white appliances, and also had a pine table with four matching chairs seated around it. Upstairs there were three bedrooms, and there were enough beds to sleep eleven people. The bathroom was huge, with a large Jacuzzi in the corner, surrounded by mirrors, there was also a shower stall in the opposite corner.



He put their bags on the bed in the main bedroom, which had a large bed against one wall, and night stands on each side. The comforter on the bed was light blue, and the curtains were white. Betty felt nervous again. She kind of knew they would be sleeping in the same room, but this confirmed it.



He seemed to guess what she was thinking. ‘You can sleep in another room if you’re more comfortable with that.’



‘No no, I guess it just seems so...forbidden.’ She explained.



‘I will wait as long as you want me to.’ He assured her.



‘I love you so much, Reggie Mantle.’ She stood on her tip toes and kissed him firmly on the lips.







Read and review, or don't, just enjoy the story. Btw I love Betty being paired with Reggie, I figure the really bad guy and the really good girl would even themselves out. Maybe Ron and Arch will make an appearance, probably. I hope this will be a really long story.
