The dark queen

It wasn't a pretty sight. all around him, his believers bowed. they were dirty, they were tired. but they believed in him. they believed that he was the key to ending the horror that was Raven.
hundreds of over worked, under fed people stood in his church.
Brother blood smiled and looked over his flock. to the left of him, dressed in robes as he was Dr. Light.
To the right of him stood also in robes, a brain washed herald. the young man had not been easy to take control of, but the positives outweighed the negatives in this matter. behind brother blood, the final of his top staff, Killowat, also brain washed.
"My flock, these are dark times...Satan's daughter walks among us, and she is arm and arm with she anti Christ himself!" brother blood said.
he stood at a podium, a microphone by his face as he slammed a robotic fist down.
"The Teen titans, they try to fight this evil, and for that, they are to be commended. they would not join us in our holy battle, but that is because they are confused, they belive they can do it themselves. some might say this foolish, but i say that they are brave souls for it, and they deserve a part in our prayers!"
the crowd cheered and fists were pumped in the air and Blood smiled and waited for them to quiet down.
"But the titans are not the only heros. each and everyone of you are heros! you're tireless efforts keep up the shield which keep our nation of God free from the devil! You work day and night, you put up with a food shortage, you tolerate the time it takes to purify our water from the poisons that are placed in it, and for all of this and more, not only are you all heros, But I, the messager of god, thank you!"
Inside of the old church, the crowd cheered again, and Blood nodded. the more they felt, the more they believed in him, the stronger he got.
"I have brought you here, to one of the last free places on earth. to take part in the holy battle between Raven's forces of hell and Our forces of god! You may rest knowing you are lead by myself, a messager of god, Dr.light, who wields the holy light of god himself!"
As he spoke, his eyes turned eye as did all of the people in the room. at the same time, Dr. light let a gentle glow from his body, making himself look like a angel as the crowd cheered for him.
"We have the horn of the arch angel on our side, and the man who Gabriel blessed with it, Herald!"
Herald brought forth his trumpet and blew on it, opening a hole into limbo and then closed it as the crowd was screaming his name.
"We have the holy lighting, that shall burn the wickedness from this land, Killowat!"
the lighting teen moved forward and and let his powers go, his robes had been made lighting proof long ago.
Blood spread out his arms to the people in the church, their raw emotions powering so much that he almost believed that he could take on raven.
"I am here to lead you! one day, the vile spawn of Satan and the anti Christ shall be cast back into hell...are you with us? do you belive?!"
The crowd roared that they did, and Blood bowed before them.

In the living room, Speedy was looking over Black city, the name Raven had given the city, though the force field which kept them alive. his left arm was replace by a robotic one. They had tried to give him a arm like Cyborg's, one that looked human but he preferred the arm he chose. it was made of titiamun and it was shaped mostly like a human arm, expect it was based on just bone. his hair was longer now, coming down to his shoulders and he no longer wore a mask.
"You're sure it was Starfire?" He asked in a rough voice.
Aqualad, who wore a eyepatch over his left eye socket nodded and stoked the stone cold type goatee he had grown.
"Saw her with my own eye man..."

Both of them had been victims of Raven's wrath. during the first few months of her rule, raven had captured all of the titans east. Aqualad and speedy had watched a starved beast boy fight his new demon instincts as long as he could before he has feasted on mas en yos and then on Bumble bee. they had both been tossed in at the same time and Beast boy had rushed them, making it clear they were going to die when he had freed them of their bonds and tossed them out of the sand pit. it would be made much steeper before the next time BB was fed, to ensure this never happened again.
It had only been the dumbest of chance that let them escape. they had been chased down the halls by slade bots, when they ran into Jinx,Mammoth and Gizmo, all in chains, about to be lead to their death, sentenced to be made into hot dogs for raven to cook latter. speedy realized that without knowing the lay out of Raven's castle, all escape would be next to impossible, and had rushed the three slade bots leading them. the first bot fired over speedy and he had head aqua scream but ignored it and took the bot down with a flip and snagged it's gun and jumped back as it was blast but the other two. he fired a shot into ones head but then the last one fire a cutting beam into him and his arm fell to the floor as he balled over. the rest of the escape was a blur, he vaguely remembered jinx grabbing the gun from the bot he had shot while mammoth wretched the gun from his dead arm and they blasted the slade bot gone and freed themselves. Aqualad had grabbed him, holding his bloody eye...

"You think it's a trap?" Aqualad asked.
"...I can't put anything pass that bitch..." Speedy said bitterly.

Down in the basement, Gizmo was tapping away on a computer as Fix it came back downstairs.
"was it really her?" Gizmo asked, never taking his eyes off of the screen.
"No...but in a way, yes.. how goes your efforts?" Fix it asked, drifting over to a pile of weapons that needed repair.
"Well, the personal shield generators are possible, but the big problem will be powering the fragging things." Gizmo said.
He sat back in his chair, dressed in a pair of blue jeans, covered in grease and holes, and a white t-shirt.he ran a hand though his short crew cut before picking up a tootsie pop and sticking it in his mouth. he was actually taller than before, he was about Beast boy's old height, back when he had been human.
"would you mind putting your project on hold for the moment?" Fix it asked, leaving speedy's blaster on the top of his pile as he moved towards Gizmo.
"what for?"
Fix it answered by handing Gizmo a disk.
"This is the data on this new Starfire. she's from anther dimension. I want to see if we can mange to get into her dimension."
"Cool...reinforcements..."

Hot spot was in his normal form at the moment and stared out at the screen in front of him and sighed. next to him, a bored looking mammoth munched on a protein bar.
"...I know there's a good reason why we watch for attacks, and i know it's our turn...I just really wish it wasn't." Hot spot groaned.
Mammoth nodded his head and sketched his arms.
"hey, go and get use some pop, Aqualad drank it all out of the mini fridge and didn't get more....and grab my bucket of chicken out of the main fridge too while your at it." mammoth said with a toothy smile.
"No way big guy, you start munching and don't notice anything els,e and you get everything greasy. do you really wanna piss cyborg off again?" Hot spot asked with a smirk, standing up.
Mammoth gulped and relaxed in his chair.
"cock..."

Hot spot walked out of the room. it had been Beast boy's old room, and Cyborg had wanted to keep it in perfect condition, in his vain hope of saving his little buddy, but a lack of room all around had forced him to remake the room.
as Hot spot walked towards the living room he passed by where Raven's room had been and shivered.
they had tried to set up alot of things in her old room after getting rid of everything, but in the end, everything seemed to malfunction in the room, Cyborg cyborg had just bared it off, and cut it off from the power grid.

In Starfire's old room, Blackfire slept. her dream was a troubled one, and she tossed and turned in her white night shirt, her white pantry's showing as she had kicked her covers off.
her body was covered in sweat as she dreamt of her return to earth.

she had been exploring the ruins of the Locrix, seeing if there was anything of value left to grab. it was when she got back to her starship, that one of her contracts had gotten ahold of her, about the big going ons on earth. how according to the grapevine, her sister was dead.
it hadn't been till that moment, Blackfire had realized the one truth in her life. everyone else, they had always hated her, her parents, everyone but Starfire.Starfire could of had Blackfire killed, but she had instead banished her from tamerran.
"Starfire..."
tears had come to her eyes, and in a blind rage she had made her way towards earth like a bat out of hell, hoping to all of the gods, that the grape vine was wrong.
It had turned out that the grapevine was right. Blackfire had landed on earth during Blackfire's purge and she hadn't even gotten a chance to confront raven before she found herself over whelmed with slade bots under the command of Private Hive.
in the end, it had been Cyborg and the others who saved her. she repaid their kindness by joining them and letting them tear her ship apart, which had greatly added to the towers defenses.

Blackfire shot up, sweating as knocking was heard on her door.
"Mammoth? Is that you?" Blackfire said, standing up and walking slowly towards the door. "It better not be, Cyborg will have your ass if you dumping your watch duty to come fuck me!"
Blackfire opened up the door to find Jinx with a horrified look on her face.
"well if you wanted to fuck too, thats OK." Blackfire teased.
Being quite open about swinging both ways, Blackfire had for a while gone out with both mammoth and Jinx, until they found out about each other. mammoth had been OK with the idea, but Jinx had felt hurt and it had ended up bringing her and speedy together in a strange twist of fate, and she had since forgiven Blackfire.
"Very cute. but i thought you might wanna know, Cyborg and Aqualad found a Starfire look alike today." jinx said with a grin.
the smile disappeared from Blackfire's face and she grabbed jinx by the shoulders.
"I-Is it her?" she asked in a whisper.
"I-I don't really know, Cyborg and fix it went off to go run some tests." Jinx said wincing.
Blackfire let her go and took off towards Cyborg's room.

Raven and slade were side by side at their war table, the brain, Mad mod and other meta human baddies gathered around.
"Today, there were reports of a certain alien girl coming back to life. Starfire. these reports were latter confirmed." slade started off.
A lot of the faces around the table had shocked looks on them.
"E-excuse me my q-queen..." Billy numerous started, raising a hand as raven narrowed her eyes on him."Is it r-really so bad that Starfire has come to life...t-this just means you get to enjoy killing her again right?"
"wrong you sorry excuse for a human being. it means that Starfire's cheated death once, whats to stop her from doing it again, or showing the other titans how to do it? I want her captured asap. cause as much hell as you can, and draw her out! but bring her to me alive, if one of you kills her...well, as motivation not to make that mistake, remember what happened to poor Billy."
Billy barely had time to say what before Raven's dark energy wrapped around him, keeping him from spiting into more forms and with a sick laugh, she started to squeeze him, the room was so quiet as the others watched on that you could hear Billy's bones snapping. Raven had silenced him, as she loved that noise and squeezed a bit hard and screamed silently and then died, his eyeballs bursting and blood hitting serval of the baddies.
"no one has any more questions i hope?" Raven asked with a grin, bringing Billy's dead body towards her and laying it out in front of her,made a straw form out of her energy and stuck it in billy and began to drink his blood.
the assembled baddies took off, no one questioning their queen as slade put his hands on her shoulders and rubbed.
"You're upset over Starfire, but thats not whats got you scared.." He said after a moment.
"...You always could read me like a book lover...If a nobody like Starfire came back from the dead..whats to stop my father?"

Cyborg was woken up by Blackfire banging on his door and sat up groaning. Starfire was still somehow asleep as he looked at the door and blinked, making it open as he was hooked online with the tower 24/7. Blackfire dashed in and spotted Starfire on the bed next to him and stood very still for a moment and then broke out into a huge grin and dashed towards Starfire and hugged her.
"Thank the gods...she's alive.." Blackfire said tears in her eyes.
cyborg gulped, wondering how he was going to explain this one to Blackfire and hoped that Starfire remembered what he had told her if she were to wake up right now.
