Chapter 3
After studying as much as he could, and having drawn out a map of Azerath from what the book told him, Beast Boy felt he was prepared to take on his mission. From what he could see, the prison appeared to be in the basement of the large castle in the center of the city. His plan was to make his way into the castle, and under it into the prison. Once he freed her, he knew her powers could help them find a way home. Unfortunately that was as far as he had planned, forgetting the beating he and the rest of the team had recieved at the hands of thre of them. And here he was prepared to take on their entrie race.
After rechecking the diagram he had made in the center of Raven's room, against the diagram in the book that Raven had left. Normally the portal would need a source of magic, but here, in Raven's room, there would be enough latent magic for one portal. Which left him a single chance at this. He would love to have the rest of the Titans, but he knew they would only try to get him to give up this quest. But they didn't hear her voice as she confessed her love to him. and all he could do was watch her leave, when all he wanted to was tell her he felt the same way. No, he had to do this.
He knelt in the center of the chalk drawn circles and whispered the incantation, the lines suddenly glowing. In a flash Beast Boy began to be raised up, and drawn throught the rip that had appeared above him. "Here's to hoping the portal drops me off somewhere private."
Beast Boy suddenly saw the world change, and he fell to the ground. He look around and saw he was in the center of a very busy marketplace, and in moments, was surrounded by several guards. "Oh, fuck."
