Home Again
All was back to the way it should be.
The raid that took place at the ware house was a god-send.
Thanks to Barbra.
It seemed that after finding Terry and finally managing to unlock the huge door, Louis had regained consciousnous and set off the alarm.
At first Bruce thought that that was it, that their fates were sealed. The entire mob would rush up the stairs find them and kill both him and Terry's family.
But it seemed that fate had another plan.
Just as the hooligans were rushing up the stairs with their guns to 'investigate' the back doors were blasted open and the police rushed in.
Guns and blasters were balzing everywere. In the middle of the cross fire, Bruce and Terry made a break for it without being noticed and Louis and his accomplice were killed.
And Bruce couldn't have been happier because from what Terry told him later it seemed that only Louis and his demented half knew his real identity.
It seemed that after discovering him, they took him in a car seperately from the others without revealing his identity so as to sell him to any mob leader he irritated for the highest price to kill for themselves.
After escaping the ware house and retrieving Terry's family (which in another miracle were neither hurt nor were even aware of the fact that they were being held hostage) from aboard Louis' yacht(were they were told that had won a vacation for a whole week in a competition they never entered), Bruce took Terry back to the manor with him to check his injuries.
Through the whole ride back Terry was very quite and Bruce didn't seek a conversation.
He took the youth's silence to either a tribute to abuse or to anger which was directed to either Terry himself, the mob or to Bruce himself.
Bruce hoped it would be the latter.
He would hate for the boy to lose his self esteem on his account.
He had a long history of harming people and for them to suffer on his account.
But it should happen again to this young man Bruce would never forgive himself.
Bruce brought himself back to the present and inspected Terry as he sat on the table while Bruce inspected and delt with his injuries.
Terry was shirtless and bent over with his elbows onhis knees seemingly lost in his thoughts.
Bruce couldn't ignore the hurt that swelled inside his chest, it was eating away at him that this young man was deeply wounded because of him, but he ignored his feelings and continued inspecting Terry's injuries.
If Terry chose to leave him he wouldn't blame him.
After all, everyone else in his life left him.
Whats one more to his already dead heart?
Just as Bruce finished up with the last wound and was sizing himself up for inevitable confortation, Terry spun around grabbed Bruce's face and brought their lips together in a firey passion.
Bruce was completely stunned. So stunned that he didn't react at first but soon he gave up to the kiss and started responding.
After a few minutes Terry broke the and stared deeply into Bruce's eyes, seeking his reaction.
Bruce looked back into the youth's eyes, seeing the passion, hunger and... intimidation?
Was Terry afraid of what he might think?
No that was not right.
Terry should never be afraid or hesitant and as prouf he took Terry's face between gentle palms and returned the kiss with more fervor.
Terry was a bit hesitant but he soon gave into the kiss with equal fury.
After a while they broke the for breaths sake.
"So I guess this means that means your not angry with me anymore." said Terry in a low voice.
Angry?!
"Angry?!" wondered Bruce "Why would I be angry with you, if its anything I expected you to be angry with me."
"Huh?!Why?!I'm the one whom got caught and got the suit ruined." answered Terry hesitantly.
Is that why Terry was so quite, is that why he was afraid?
"Screw the suit, the suit can be replaced you can't."
answered Bruce and resumed kissing him with firey passion and fervor and intent.
Delighted Terry broke the kiss and said:
"You know, why don't we take this upstairs" said Terry hotly and as an after thought added, " I have a feeling your old age won't allow you to do it here."
Bruce growled deep in his throat.
"Old?! Old!? I'll show you how old I am."
And proceeded to drag a laughing Terry behind him up to his bedroom to show him what the original Batman is all about.
The End.
