Chapter 5: Tears and Nut-sacs

Walking into the kitchen Robin sat down in a chair next to Beast boy, who was currently eating his tofu breakfast.
"Hey, how's Raven? She feeling any better?"
"Man, You have No Idea. She's worse and I don't think she'll be coming down anytime soon."
"Why? What happened? I mean having a baby is hard. I know that much, but I thought after it was all over the girl is supposed to get better and be a mom. Ya know, like picking up where they left off including the extra work."
"It doesn't always work that way BB. I'll tell you about what happened this morning later." said robin as Terra and Cyborg walked back into the living room.
Nudging Terra in the ribs, Cy reassured Terra and Urged her to confront BB. "Now is the time, I'll talk to Rich in the kitchen, so you guys can talk alone."
Beast boy watched curiously as terra walked up to him and pulled on his elbow leading him to the couch in the living room.
"Gar, there is something I need to talk to you about." Terra patted the seat next to her. Hoping that She wouldn't lose her nerve, she decided that it would be best if she was straight forward.
Worried that terra was about to break up with him, he followed her command.
"Gar, I am not going to pussyfoot around this, so here goes." Gar practically stopped breathing waiting to hear what she was about to say. "Garfield, I'm Pregnant."
Gar was speechless. Terra was pregnant, that meant he was going to be a father. "I'm a Daddy?" he said as he stared at her in shock.
Nodding her head, she felt ashamed. she hadn't even finished high school, granted she was a super-hero and spent alot of time doing home schooling, she had yet to pass the graduation test. And here she was not just a pregnant teen, but she wasn't even married or at least engaged. She had a feeling that even if Gar didn't leave her, he wouldn't be the same, he might have to care about the child but he didn't have to care about her.
"Gar I'm so sorry, I didn't mean for this to happen and Now I don't know what to do. I will understand if you want to leave." Terra was scared, she didn't want him to leave but it's not like she could stop him.
Looking shocked at her, Beast boy couldn't believe she was actually giving him permission to abandon her and his child. His child. It was just so exhilarating and frightening all at the same time.
"Terra I would never leave you, I love you."
Reaching into his pocket of his leotard, he got off the couch and kneeled down in front of terra. Terra had begun sobbing at the sight of what was about to happen.
Beastboy pulled a small, but distinct, simple diamond ring out of his pocket. Taking her hand in his, "Terra, I love you more than words could ever say. And with this new addition coming, nothing could make me happier than this. Terra Markov, Will you marry me and be my wife?
Bawling loudly she pulled BB to her chest she hugged him tightly, "Yes, Yes Garfield Logan I will marry you." BB slipped the ring on her finger and gave her a gentle loving kiss. Terra had yet to stop crying out of joy.
At this point Cy brought Robin over to the couch. They watched everything from the kitchen. It was like watching a soap opera.
"Hey guys what's up?" Said Cy as Robin followed him into the living room.
"I just asked terra to marry me. and Guess what..." said BB excitedly
"What?" asked Robin
"We're having a Baby!" Proclaimed beastboy as he puffed up his chest proudly.
Hearing the conversation, "WE? I'm the one with the baby inside of me." said terra angrily as her mood swings were getting the best of her.
Remembering how dangerous Raven was, all three boys were tempted to scream like little girls and run for the hills. Finally BB piped up, " Yes, Terra we. As in we are in this together. It may be inside your body, but I want to be the one to get everything you and the baby need. This is going to a team effort, so you are not alone in this."
"Ok. Can I have breakfast now?" asked Terra, having finally gotten some control over the swings.
"Sure thing, Lil' Sis." said Cyborg as he walked back to the kitchen.

Raven had spent hours bawling and crying. She hated that there was nothing she could do to save her daughters. She knew that no matter how different they were they would be tied to each other. They may not have the same fate but they would either fight together or they would fight each other.
The girls had fallen asleep in her lap, taking them up in her arms she placed them in the crib and covered them with the baby blanket.
She sighed loudly, she had neglected robin after all he had done for her. She had better go apologize. Flipping on the baby monitor she picked up one of the many walkie-talkies that came with it. Walking down stairs, she heard crying echoing off the walls. she headed on to the living room, to find that it was terra who was crying as she stared at a ring on her finger.
'wait a ring? does that mean what i think it does?' thought raven as she walked over to the couch, "Terra, are you Ok?"
"Yeah I'm ok, just really, really happy right now." said Terra as she looked over at the disheveled gothic mother.
"Whats with the ring? Does that mean what I think it does?" Raven smiled as terra began grinning so much it was humanly impossible to smile more.
"I'll take that as a yes. But I'm sensing something else is on your mind. Care to tell me about it?" Raven started looking worried for her team member.
"Raven how did you ever tell robin that you were pregnant? Weren't you worried that he would reject you and you'd be left to care for the baby all alone?" Terra was still worried that Beastboy would change his mind. She was expecting him to just leave, he didn't, but she was still worried.
"Actually, yes I was scared. I didn't know how Richard felt about children. We had never talked about that aspect of our lives. So when I learned that I was pregnant I was afraid that he would suggest giving up the baby to adoption, or even worse, an abortion. I wouldn't have been able to live with myself had it come to that." Raven said sadly, she rarely shared her fears with anyone but Robin, even less so with terra. But It didn't change the fact that it had indeed scared her.
"Either way, you have yourself and you have us, whether BB takes responsibility or not." Finished raven as she changed the subject.
"Oh Rae-Rae!" sounded a voice from the kitchen
"Kill me now. before my day gets worse." said raven in her usual monotone.
"Oh, Rae-Rae, come get breakfast before BB makes You eat Tofu." said Cy as he poked his head out from the kitchen.
"Tell Beastboy if he even tries to slip tofu into my food, terra is carrying the only child he will ever have, even if I have to neuter him myself."
"WHEW! Harsh... but duly noted." replied Cy.
"Hey, leave my nut-sac out of this, I wouldn't slip anything into your food Raven, you know that." Called BB from the Table, covering himself as if to protect himself from being kicked.
Smiling that she had gotten her wanted reaction, "Duly Noted."
