chapter 6
The luxury of time

A/n dont worry you guys the last chapter wasnt the end.. and I do agree that it would be a poor choice to frighten andrew and Jr.. a very poor choice. and yes the Children will develop powers.. but I figured it would be better for everyone involved if they develop gradually it takes place three months after chapter five and chapter seven will take place awhile ahead. and To Butter_Lover I chose Garfield Jr. for a very simple reason which will be revealed in the last chapter.. in which the children will be older.

a piercing cry broke the night. Raven woke walking over to the crib picking up andrew she felt the diaper.. it felt dry, figuring he must be hungry she pulled her nightgown down revealing her signifigantly swelled bosum rubbing the back of his head as he suckled, then burped him before setting him down and slipping into bed she just closed her eyes when another cry broke out.. she just pushed Beast boy out of the bed.. he slumps on the floor "hey what that for?" she perks her head "well your up you can take care of your son!" grumbling he picks up Junior felt the diaper nothing wrong there.. he walks back to the bed and hands him to Rae "I'd be happy to help but I'm not equipped to handle this situation." groaning Raven took Jr. and fed him..before garfield put his son back into the crib.. cuddling against his wife Raven rubs her temple "Remind me how long until I can sleep at night again?" "It will be soon enough hun.." amazed how quickly she fell back to sleep he began looking at the clock it was almost four A.M. so he was going to go out and get a drink figuring no point in getting back to bed now..

rubbing his temples he grumbles the strain of lack of sleep was wearing on his usually cheery demeanor. pouring a cup of coffee he groans.. "I hope this passes sooner than later." he states as he takes a seat. it had been three months since the children were born and he and Raven still had to choose god parents.. well to be more specific a god father, as both had agreed Starfire would be a good choice for a god mother.. they disagreed on who should be the godfather.. he mutters "I still think Cy would be a better choice.. I mean for the first two weeks all Robin could do was bitch about losing sleep, like me and Rae dont!" pacing he thanks any dieties that be that so far the children's minds are too weak to use any powers they might possess.. it was maybe an hour and a half when Raven came out breaking him from his thoughts by wrapping her arms around his neck.."get a nap now before the others get up or one of them need something Gar." nodding he kisses her cheek and turns back to the bedroom.

Robin Grumbles his mask was on the bathroom sink. "God I got Tea bags under my eyes" I'm going to have to sound proof my room or something.. he thinks to himself.. groaning as Star hugs him from behind "you look tired Robin" "Cause I am." "Then sleep." she states matter of factly.. "I would if I could seems everytime I get to sleep one of them begins crying." "Isnt that what babies do?" "I know Star.. I just am not used to it." of them all it seemed Starfire and Cyborg were the only ones who werent seemingly affected by the crying infants. Beast boy walked around like a zombie most of the day.. while Raven was starting to drink more and more Caffinated drinks.. just to keep up with the childrens needs.

Andrew Smirks looking to his brother while they were too young to speak outloud the two had already developed a kind of mind speech too weak to be picked up by the adults. "I'm hungry." "Ditto" "Lets wake up Dada" a screaming their heads off a groggy Beast boy picked them up checked both of their diapers.. then walked out to the living room "Rae the Dinner bell is ringing." placing her book down she walks back into the bed room to feed them grumbling as she picked up the two and sat on the bed while they ate.. "gotta invest in a breast pump." she mutters to herself after a few moments she burped them and layed them down to bed before she sits back to her book

a few moments later garfield was stuck changing them Jr. mind speeches to his brother "Locked, loaded and ready to fire.." "Agh I swear If I didnt know better you two do that on purpose!" changing the diaper he grumbles as he lays them back in the crib grabbing the baby monitor "Rae I'm gonna head to the shower.." "Happen again? which one this time?" "Jr." "of course. ok I'll have Star watch them while your occupied.."

giggling like a little kid Starfire was playing baby games with the small infants, Raven and Beast boy half walked half Ran to take advantage of the situation.. fumbling with their uniforms before they even got to the door.. placing a very large and clear DO NOT DISTURB!!!!!!!!!!! sign on the door handle. "Finally.." Beast boy tosses off his uniform and half dashes to the bed smiling mischevously "I believe Certain areas need to be Reaquinted with me Raven." "Just shut up and hurry up!" she responds by grabbing him by the ears and kissing him rather roughly then ripping the remnants of his clothes like they were made of tissue paper.. before she pounces on him like a jungle cat. straddling him like a saddle she nearly knocks the wind out of him in her enthusiasm "Been Way way too long.." thrusting in he grips her hips.. they just wanted to be quick because they knew even starfire couldnt keep those two entertained long enough for a more lengthy session It seemed like they had just started getting into the Rhythm when the Titan alarm broke out..

"Fuck!" she screams pulling herself hesitantly off him before she begins pulling her uniform back on and beast boy is uttering so many Curse words that gizmo would be taking notes for later as he grabs a uniform off the rack hurrying out to the living room.. "Alright who is it this time?" Beast boy utters out before Cy begins clearing his throat and pointing at Beast boy shirt.. looking embarassed he hurriedly turns it the right way around. "It looks Like Nightshade and Shapeshifter" "I thought those two Reformed?" "Thought so too guess not.." "alright who's Staying behind?" responds robin grumbling they draw straws Robin curses as he draws the shortest straw which results in Raven losing her temper "No Swearing infront of the children! I dont wanna raise no little Gizmo mouthed kid!" as the others pile into the Tcar Robin flips on the Tv turning to the play pen he says "If you dont tell I wont" as he flips on the playboy channel

Shape shifter screams "God Damn It I didnt even do anything this time!" wren replies "other than getting pissed and breaking that window cause the store was closed when we got here." "Well I wasnt the one who had to stop five times for the bathroom!" "I cant help it!" Rolling his eyes "lets get in the car and get out of here, I'm not gonna get my ass kicked for doing nothing!" "Never mind that Idea" Wren replies holding her swelled belly "alright what the hell's going on!" Raven states obviously agitated "It was an accident Jack lost his temper and hit the glass" "I thought it was that bullet proof crap!" "ok I very much doubt those two would want to steal anything from this place Cy" looking at the store name The Storks warehouse. "alright what you doing here then?" says Cyborg unlike the other Titans he didnt trust any of the olympian's claims of reforming.. looking at wren then back to Cyborg as if he was an exceptianally slow child "look at her and What do you think I would be doing here!"

"Alright I guess no Harm No Foul Jack But Work on that Temper, Where the hell you two living anyways?" "Down at the apartments by the docks." "you Mean that Slum pit!" Responds Beast boy, "eh when you dont have much you take what you can get." responds Wren "I still dont know why you two are so adament about making it on your own we've offered like atleast twenty times that you can stay at the tower." "Jack's too proud to take Charity" whispers Wren into Ravens ear "Look if thats the case dont worry about It Jack.. think of it as an investment oppurtunity." "How so?" "Well in exchang for periodically helping us out you get free room and board, so you dont have to waste your money on stuff like rent, plus by the way Wren is looking you could use the assistance." "sounds tempting but I've got a job at the docks.." "Dont worry about It I see you two got a car." looking at the supposed "Car" it was a 198? horizon and the titans just shake their head when they hear it start it sounded like some animal dying a slow painful death.. "alright Dude I insist you come back with us that thing sounds like it was lucky to get this far!" "Alright Alright! Jeesh man dont need to beat a dead horse!"

as they come into the tower Robin was too occupied with his movie to hear the door open and when he turns around its not clear who is madder Raven for catching Robin watching something innapropriate or Robin for seeing who is behind the Titans "what the hell Robin I would think you would be More responsible than that!" "What the hell are those two doing here!" "Dont change the subject!" "What its not like their gonna remember it!" her eyes flash to four red slits "and in about five seconds their not going to remember uncle Robin either!" "alright alright calm down Rae dont worry I'm sure Robin wont do this again Right Rob?" replies Cy trying to avoid a fight between a woman who is half demon, who is angry as a mother bear. and a very embarassed but angry leader. "Umm I'm gonna go sit in the car k Gar?" says a nervous Jack.. not wanting to see the arguement between the two titans any farther, then Wren runs up to the play pen picking up Jr. "ooh Who is a cute wittle baby I think its you oh yes I do." blowing raspberries on his tummy Jack just looks like his Girlfriend had lost her mind by that very uncharachteristic action.. "and ooh who is this little guy?" picking up andrew as she sets the other down "alright they need to nap Wren," says Raven looking disapointed she hands the two infants back to their parents. "Alright you two can Take My old room and dont mind Robin, he'll be a jerk for awhile like usual when Raven gets angry over something he does around the kids.. just ignore it" Beast boy says as he passes with Jr. in his arms

looking the now empty room over all thats left of what once arguebly the messiest place short of the dump in Jump city.. all thats left within is the bunk bed, "Alright this will work for tonight and tommorrow we can get our security deposit and our stuff." states jack sitting on the bottom bunk, sliding next to him Wren looks around the room felt strange, as if it hadnt been entered in months (basically the truth, as Beast boy only seemed to come in anymore when him and Raven were Arguing)

"it will be alright when we get some of our stuff in here." states wren matter of factly, "It will be Rather Cozy."
"yeah I guess it will, and im sure by the time the twins are born three months isn't that big an age differance.." "true Though I do wish it would be over already It sucks not being able to see your feet, I swear how do fat people stand it?" shrugging Jack just begins rubbing her shoulders "dont worry hun it's only about a week"

pacing in his Room Starfire sitting on his bed "No No No!" "What Robin?" "Why did Raven and Beast boy Invite those two! they should at the least of asked me first.." "Dont worry Friend Robin I'm sure it will be alright.." "But the Crying Star The Crying!" "I dont Get how you and Cy Can sleep through it!" shrugging it off Starfire states "I sleep Terribly deep I'm afraid, Why do you not just buy the plugs of ears?" "I tried they felt Terrible." "then why do you not just try to Sound proof said rooms?" "good Idea, Why didnt I think of it before!" grabbing her by the face he kisses her in his enthusiasm "I'll just dip in my funds and pay for a contracter!"

End of chapter 6

Robin grumbles "I would of thought of it sooner, Nos!"
Nos chuckles "if you say so robin."
the guys are ignoring the three girls acting all odd over the two babies
Beast boy mutters "God girls are worse about babies than we are about a hot girl!"

oh by the way folks the next chapter will be a bit farther along..
