Terra lifted up jagged rocks and hurled them at Raven, her blue eyes glimmering. Raven created a wall and blocks the rocks. She held her hand out and shot at Terra who dodge the attack by a hair.

Beast Boy looked at Slade, who was admiring Raven. He turned into a leopard and attacked Slade. Slade moved out of the way and skidded across the ground. Beast Boy lunged at him and Slade jumped over him, kicking up dirt into his eyes.

Terra lifted up part of the ground and wrapped it around Raven. Raven was being squeezed by the rock. Her eyes opened and she screamed, turning into a raven and breaking through the ground. Terra flew out of the way as Raven chased after her.

Terra landed and looked around the rippled spot.

BB growled deeply, his entire body changing. He grew, making Slade drop him. Muscles bulged and his face contorted. Slade took steps back, his eye widened. Beast Boy had become his man-beast. He howled, making Terra look at him.

The ground started to shake and Raven burst through. Terre walked back slowly as Raven crept towards her, her eyes aflame with white light. Raven raised her fist and socked Terra making her fall to her ass. Terra looked up at Raven, causing the ground to shake and a crater opening to reveal lava.

Beast Boy mauled Slade, knocking him to the ground and tearing at his armor. Slade attempted to fight back but Beast Boy was too strong. He scratched at something on Slade’s belt, causing Raven to shriek in pain and fall to the ground. Her hand went up to her bindi.

It was no longer glowing red and was cracked. Beast Boy had freed her from Slade’s power. She panted as she clenched the ground. Slade got up and attempted to punch Beast Boy, but he was pushed back, falling into the crater.

Raven rushed over and grabbed onto his hand, falling in herself. She held onto the edge, struggling to pull Slade up.

Slade looked up at her and noticed she was losing her grip.

“Let me go, Raven.” He urged her.

“NO!” She shouted, grunting.

“You…are the perfect apprentice.”

Raven’s eyes widened as he let his grip go, falling from her hand. Slade fell backwards into the pit, his eye still on her. He died to save her…why?

Raven looked up and watched as her grasp fell, Terra reached over and grabbed her hand.

“Raven! It’s alright!” She reassured her, watching as Beast Boy turned to normal.

Terra looked back at Raven, “If I can’t have him…neither can you.”

She let Raven drop, standing up and watching. Raven closed her eyes and felt a hand wrap around her waist pulling her from the heat.

Robin crawled up the volcano, Raven in one arm. He held onto her, looking down at her dirt covered face, smiling up at him.

Beast Boy wrapped an arm around her shoulder and hugged her, he looked at Raven and then turned his back to her, hugging Terra closely. Raven looked down and felt a gloved hand caress her face, Robin looked down at her.

“Welcome back, Raven.” He whispered with a smile.
