Do you love me, inspite of me?
A/N: This story tells of the budding Romance between Raven and Starfire during the three months that Robin and Beast Boy are gone. This first chapter will be short. sorry.

Raven watched as the two planes took off, remembering the words Beast Boy whispered into her ears. "Tell her." Raven knew he meant Starfire, since he was the only one who knew she was in love with the alien princess. And he never told anyone, under pain of death. But that still didn't mean he wouldn't bug her about it. Raven promised she would, and he left.

Starfire stood in the living room, recalling what Robin told her before he left. "Don't make the same mistake I did." Starfire was shocked he knew she had feelings for Raven, since she had only talked to Beast Boy about it. He often pushed her to tell Raven, and she knew that both of them were right.
Starfire felt a prescense, and turned to see Raven behind her.
"Star," Raven said. "We need to talk."
"Raven," Starfire said. "There is much to discuss."
Both girls blushed slightly, accidently talking over each other.
"Starfie,"
"Raven,"
"I love you, with my whole heart."
"I believe I desire you as my lover."
Despite the different words used, both girls knew what the other meant, and they grabbed each other, smashing thier lips together. Raven suddenly felt her powers surge, but sensed nothing breaking or shattering.
But, in a flash, Black energy encased Starfire and shot her across the room. Raven watched in horror as the alien fell over lifelessly, and ran to her side.
