Is It Love?

The sun was just rising over the horizon, slowly making it's presence known inside of the bedroom of a certain Titan by the name of Chloe. Arms were outstretched as she allowed a soft yawn to be passed through her lips as she slowly opened her eyes, sapphire pools watching the suns ray's creep onto the floor of her room the day was here once again. Golden blonde locks fell carelessly over her shoulders as she finally managed to pull herself into a sitting position, her pajama shirt bunching a little at the new position as she looked toward the alarm clock that read six a.m...it was still a little too early for her liking. She was just about to lay herself back down underneath her covers when a loud crash was heard, causing the girl to practically spring from her bed in surprise. Eyes widened considerably as she ran from the room and slid to a halt in the doorway to the kitchen followed closely by an equally surprised Cyborg who looked like he was about to kill whoever had awoken him from his peaceful sleep, she couldn't stop the smile that crept onto her facial features when she took notice to a rather chipper Beastboy who was currently in the middle of making something, it looked as if the concoction were about to come alive and attack them at least in Cyborg's opinion. It didn't take long for Beastboy to notice that there were other people watching him as he proceeded to turn around with a nervous look on his face, hands lightly scratching at the back of his head as he spoke.

"Umm sorry guys...guess I was a little loud huh?"

Cyborg was the first to comment on that with a comeback of his own.

"A little?!? it sounded like there was construction work going on in the kitchen!"

His face has turned a rather amusing shade of red when he practically yelled out his response, turning to face Chloe when he noticed that she was actually laughing at his behavior, she couldn't help it he had just looked so funny with the vein practically popping out of his neck when he yelled at him...these were the times that always seemed to amuse her the most. She had turned around just in time to see him turn around and make his way back to his room all the while muttering something under his breath though Chloe couldn't quite make out exactly what he had been saying. A rather soft giggle was passed through her lips as she finally turned her attention back to Beastboy who was currently looking at nothing in particular with a mixed expression on his face one of fear and nervousness all mixed into one, hand reaching out to lightly brush a little dust from his shoulder before she spoke in a softened tone.

"Next time just try to be a little more quiet...I'm just surprised you didn't wake everyone else up and not just us"

Then again Robin was almost always up at this time either training until he practically fell over in exhaustion or there was another project that he just had to work on so early in the morning...she never really did quite understand exactly what his fascination with this Slade character was nor did she really care to ask because frankly the last thing that she ever wanted to do was anger Robin especially after seeing the way that he fought first-hand. Her attention was brought back to the present when Beastboy spoke once more.

"Sorry Chloe...guess I didn't know just how much noise I was making"

She was just about to respond and tell him that it was alright when the alarm had gone off, signaling that they were needed once more. After giving one last glance back in his direction she quickly bounded up the stairs to get changed into her costume leaving Beastboy all to his lonesome...yep it was starting out just like any other day.
