summary what happens when beast boy finds someone like himself.. m/f
beast boy was feeling lonely sometimes it wasnt easy being green, especially as other than martian manhunter beast boy had never seen another green person grumbling "least when he changes he doesnt stay green he actually looks normal.." staring at his latest comic based on the adventures of the justice league.. he knew it wasnt the same but sometimes it just felt terrible at the mall as some chatter box little girl kept asking him if he was sick as he tried to read said comic in peace..
"you say your not sick but you really look sick cause only time i ever seen anyone green was when they were sick.." and beast boy tried to ignore her, and really tried not to laugh when a very angry mother dragged the girl away yelling how rude it was to make fun of someone who was differant.. "wouldn't be the first time lady" he mumbles to himself as he leaves the mall moping back to the tower..
"hey BB whats eating you man" "nothing cy just a bit upset.." as he says this he mopes to his room the metallic titan stared after his green friend, shaking his head thinking to himself "someone must of been teasing him about his appearence again" sometimes he wished he could help him.. as beast boy never seemed himself when people made comments on the color of his skin.. a feeling cyborg knew himself.. but it was differant least he could connect to people that were black, bb had to live alone with his situation..
sitting in his room the real reason the place was always a mess whenever anyone came in was because beast boy shifted and began trashing things in anger and depression, anger at being differant, at being a target for bullies since he had been turned green.. his gigantic gorilla form punched and Raved at a pile of uniforms and he growled in frustration happy that the room was sound proofed so the others wouldnt hear.. finally he roared a beastial war cry as his fist smashed into one of the piles sending things flying until he sat spent on his bed too exhausted to continue..
Wild Thing grumbled in frustration as she sat in the mall trying to ignore a bunch of rowdy teen boys teasing her from behind .. "ooh look at her green, bet you she's still pink below though" a slap indicated one of the guys buddies had high fived him about the rude comment when the third buddy says "only one way to find out though isnt there?" a beastial snarl stopped the horny boy just steps away from her it wasnt her fault she had gotten sick, and it wasnt her fault that the only cure had this side effect.. what Wild Thing didnt know is that very likely if the world was a better place she would most likely of died.. as the cure that was used was thought to of been lost when bb's father had disapeared, and was sold to a pharaceutical company by a very greedy, and very seedy assistant to one mark logan.. and likely she wouldnt ever find out this fact.. though if she had the guilt she would feel would be momentary.. after all hadnt it worked out in theory for her? her hair was black with tints of green her face a couple of shades lighter than bb's more of a very pale white with a green tint she wore a black t and red pants with a pair of black tennies and white socks she had an athletic build and while she wasnt exactly stacked like a pornstar she wasnt exactly flat chested about high B cup. her name was Samantha Lionheart, but most of the kids at school started calling her wild thing, as she did wild and unexpected stunts just to get people to like her.. though it didnt work out too well most of the friends she had were friends who had known her before the illness, and her parents were too guilt stricken to even talk to her most of the time.. it had been their fault she had gotten sick dragging her along on a jungle trip that she didnt exactly care to go on.. she was almost ten by the time she learned that she could change into animals when she felt like it.. though she still hated the fact that it marked her has a freak even more.. she had rarely changed herself cept a handfull of times when situations called for it.. storming out of the mall she went off to be by herself in the one place people didnt notice how much a freak a person was.. her favorite arcade
beast boy got up, usually video games helped him calm down but as he headed to the living room cyborg was totally absorbed in some one player game, so he just went back to his room and grabbed his change jar.. he hated going to arcades to play the games he could at home for free but he really needed this.. changing into a set of street clothes he slipped on a pair of tan khakis, a black t, and his favorite sneakers he brushed his hair figuring might help with the ladies.. but then again how many girls got past noticing he was green.. deciding to compromise he reached into his closet and pulled out an old ball cap he almost never wore and slipped it on (right way not backwards) he slipped as much change as his pockets would hold and his wallet.. he waved to Cyborg not knowing why he bothered as he didnt seem to notice.. and walked to the nearest arcade in jump city that he knew of
walking into the place he tried not to laugh at the name of the arcade "the Gamepad" real original.. shuddering as he thought that would be a joke more Ravenish than himself.. pulling the hat down he slips a quarter into one of the fighting games he had at home he is just about to choose a charachter when he hears a feminine voice ask "mind if i play you?" not turning around to reveal his green face he says "sure computer's too easy anyways" choosing a charachter he was fairly comfurtable with as he had kicked the tar out of cyborg enough times with it is suprised as the first match turns into a draw.. the next one he won.. and the third one his opponent beat him, it was going to the fourth round thinking to himself "wow with me and cy it always was 2, at the best 3 rounds between us" focussing his best moves he goes in for the kill only to be blocked at the last second and a devestating upper cut launching his charachter back.. countering a similar attack that he had used when using his opponents charachter he broke into a devestating combo.. about to finish her off with an animality.. hes surprised as her charachter launches itself and initiates a devestating brutality on him turning to see her the first time he says "wow your goo..." "thanks your not bad yours.." both cut what theyre about to say as they look at each other the tension could be cut with a knife it was so thick.. beast boy seemed to be the first one to get his thoughts straight clearing his throat when he said "nother game?" she just nodded trying to keep from blushing "uh yeah that sounds good" slipping their quarters beast boy selected a differant character and she chose the same one as before
after four games each the two went for the final round to determine who would be the victor in this tournament between them.. both of their charachters were on the ropes, and it would just be whoever landed their favorite finishing move first putting in the combo quickly beast boy pulls off an amazing animality where his charachter shifted into a giant T-rex and shook her charachter to death.. "umm nice game" "yeah" neither seemed comfurtable with continuing the conversation finally his opponent said "my names Samantha" "Garfield but most people call me Beast boy.." chuckling she said "yeah i can see why most people hear garfield and think either of the old president or the cartoon strip" "yeah" laughing at that "i guess your right" turning awkward again looking at the clock she says "shit its getting late umm maybe can see you again some time?" beast boy looks at her giving her a once over.. surprised at not only meeting someone that was like himself but hot too.. "sure sounds like fun samantha maybe can come over and play some games sometime" "sure long as your not making some inuendo, your cute but.." blushing at the comment beast boy laughs "no no i meant play video games. just gotta clear it with my roomates first." reaching in her pocket and pulling out a piece of paper and a pen she scribbles something down "ok call me when you get the ok" flashing a smile that was honest as she runs out of the arcade.. beast boy felt like he was walking on a cloud as he walked back to the tower he walks in and the others are about to sit down several large pizzas on the table before them beast boy is so distracted thinking about her smile that he had already finished two whole slices of Cyborg's pizza before he realized it... "dude bb nice to see you've finally gotten some tastebuds man! just next time snag some off robins!" snapping beast boy out of his day dreaming he almost gags as he realizes what he had just ate.. enough meat to fill a whole army of slaughter houses he hurriedly grabs a few slices from his own pile but whondered why he wasnt nearly as disquisted as usual at the idea.. his mind wandered again until a metallic hand started waving infront of his face

starfire looked puzzled "but isnt friend beast boy sitting right there?" robin took a hasty swallow and stated "its just another earth expression star just mean's he's distracted or day dreaming" "oh.." still looking confused she bit into her slice thinking about how confusing this expression was..
raven was on her third slice she rarely ate that much and her curiosity was getting the best of her using her powers she quickly snuck a peak into beast boys mind.. and at seeing the scene two emotions hit hard embarassment and jealousy.. Beast boy was having a good time with some girl he had met today.. getting up she stated in her dark monotone "i'm gonna go into my room and meditate"
in her mirror her more smart alecky emotion was making fun of her "looks like that distancing worked real nice dumb ass and i bet you when he's tappin that ass your gonna be wishing you had listened to lust and love.. well not so much lust if she had her way i think bb would be raped into a coma by now.." "Shut up! I dont need to hear this!" in the corner of the mirror lust gave her hungry look "come on boss just let me out for about one night and i bet green boy wont even remember her name" while the thought was tempting she was afraid that if she opened up to beast boy about how she felt that the team would be in danger as things could get rather hectic when her powers were let loose through unrestrained emotion..
meanwhile beast boy was knocking on Robin's door "umm robin i wanna talk to you." "sure bb whats up?" "look i got a friend that i met today and i thought maybe if you guys were willing she might come over for a bit meet you guys and play some video games.." "sure beast boy i dont see any harm but thanks anyways about clearing it through me first" peaking his head out of his room Cyborg had a malicious grin from ear to ear "ooh did i hear right? B's got a girlfriend!" "what you talking about she's just a friend who happens to be a girl" huffing irritably beast boy nearly broke out full speed to his room with the phone in hand..
meanwhile at samantha's house she was running rather quick and speaking even faster when she heard the phone ring "igotitdontworry" not even pausing to break words apart as she grabbed the phone before her father picked it up and said "hello" "hey samantha its Beast boy.. just thought i'd call to tell you that you can come over if you want tommorrow" nearly leaping for joy she smiled and ran up to her room away from prying ears "oh cool what time?" "umm how about four thirty me and my friend Cy will pick you up.. she hears him despite the fact he had taken the phone from his mouth to think outloud "please let him not embarass me infront of her.." "its a date" fainting on her bed she began to have a few more dreams about a certain green changeling as she hang up the phone.. and nearly blushed herself red as she realized the last words she had said.. "oh crap hope i didnt just scare him off"
rubbing the back of his neck beast boy knocked on Cyborg's door peaking his head out the metallic titan said "what bb?" "umm Cy i was just whondering if you could take me to pick my friend up tommorrow.." in his head the same sentence was running over and over again please let him not embarass me.. "ooh does bb got a date?" "no its not a date" thinking to himself though she did say it was.. but cant let him know that as i'd never hear the end of it..
