Mary Jane’s Tangled Web
Part 1
The shapely figure of Mary Jane Watson-Parker was visible through the apartment window. Tall slender and curvy described her physical appearance, but she was entirely different on the inside.
She had given every sign she knew. She had put on a new pair of velvet red bra and panties that a friend from Victoria’s Secret gave her. She put on a low cut button-up blouse that accentuated her breasts as well as her tightest pair of designer jeans. She batted her eyes, shifted her hips and with her fingers brushed her crimson curls behind one ear revealing her supple neck. She did everything except beg. Peter still left.
Every so often she bunched the hem of her blouse in her hands. She would turn and pace in the other direction, pause, wipe her sweaty hands on her jeans, and then pace other way. Nerves were threatening to turn her red tresses gray. Normally she didn’t feel like this, but tonight was somehow different.
“Why tonight?” MJ thought to herself as she paced across their flat. “Two weeks away from our anniversary and Hammerhead’s gang makes a play for Tombstone’s territory,” she reminded her self, as she turned in the opposite direction. “Gang wars are always the worst,” the redhead believed. “Peter’s spider-sense warns him of danger, but half of the gangsters in the city couldn’t shoot straight if they tried. Instead of aiming they just spray bullets everywhere. Sooner or later some punk will get lucky.” She frowned, the expression almost foreign to her beautiful features. She heard Peter argue in her head, “That’s exactly why I have to go. Some innocent bystander could get killed if I don’t.”
Mary Jane Watson-Parker roamed around their apartment in aimless worry. Peter went out on patrol almost every night, violence was almost always guaranteed. But for some reason she could not explain, she was more apprehensive about this night. MJ wanted nothing more than to hear the sound of the skylight creaking open and the soft padding sound of his feet hitting the living room floor.
“Oh Peter,” she spoke aloud “I know this is what cops and firefighters wives have to go through but its even worse for a superhero’s.” Anxiety burned in her stomach. Being a supermodel and actress was stressful enough but this was just too much. “When you get here Spider-Man,” she verbalized her thought “I’m gonna slap the mask off you and paste you to the wall with your own web-shooters for putting me through this!” Amused at the thought of Peter being bound by his own web she sinisterly chuckled to herself, “And then I’m gonna take advantage of your precarious position.”
The tell- tale creak of the skylight brought a smile to her face. Overjoyed with relief Mary Jane waited with her back turned from the skylight. She listened for the light ‘pat’ of Spider-Man dropping from the roof. Instead she heard a much heavier ‘bump’.
“Peter?” she spoke as she turned her head.
“Not this time.” It wetly growled back.
MJ’s eyes widened in horror of the sight as it approached all teeth, tongue and darkness.
“Oh God…” Her cry was cut short as the black clawed hand clasped her mouth and nose. It brought its giant white, killer whale eyes down to her level and brought its finger up in front of its mouth in a child’s motion for silence, “Shh…’ It whistled through its slobbering jaw “We mean you no harm. If you stay quiet than nothing will happen to you.” The symbiote’s face broke into the mockery of a smile, “Promise to behave?”
Tears of fright formed at the corners of Mary Jane’s eyes. Her panicked thoughts all jumbled together, “Oh my God this is it! The end and I’ll never see Peter Parker’s face again!”
Venom patiently waited for a response. “Do you agree to behave? Must we web your mouth shut or will you give us your word? We know you always keep your word. Especially when it concerns the Spider.”
Pushing her fear aside Mary Jane nods her head affirmative. Venom removes its hand from her mouth. MJ takes a gasp of air and tries to slow her beating heart, “Why are you here Brock?”
The slimy black gorilla backs away almost in disgust, “We are not just Eddie Brock. We are so much more,” it began to rave. Remembering where it was Venom brought its volume back down. “We are here for Parker. It ends tonight.”
Mary Jane backs toward the bedroom. “He’s not here Venom.” The alien head nods in agreement, “We know. We know much.”
As Mary Jane backs up, Venom steps forward. “We know the identity of the Spider-man. We know his love for you. We know when he goes on patrol. We know Parker is a creature of habit and will be gone for hours.” The oily visage of Venom’s face pulls back into a smile, “We also know of the .38 special you keep in your nightstand.” MJ stops moving stunned. “Little help that would be,” Venom giggles, “You’ll wake the neighbors and the only thing you’ll accomplish is getting yourself killed.”
MJ lets tears spill down the sides of her cheeks. Venom’s menacing smile softens, “We don’t mean to harm an innocent, but we will do what we must for our revenge.”
“Innocent?” MJ asks dumbfounded. She could only think of how dangerous this creature was.
“Yes Mrs. Parker,” Venom said while bowing cordially. “We know you love Parker as much as we hate him, but you are not to blame for our symbiote’s rejection. You are innocent and immune to Venom’s wrath.” The orcan eyes narrow, “that is unless you try to interfere in our revenge.” Glancing about the living room, Venom pats the couch with his massive hand, “Come, sit with us in your parlor while we wait.”
MJ tries to stir up some resolve. She was with Peter when he returned from Battleworld with his new black outfit. Mary Jane remembers being disgusted as she touched it for the first time. It could morph and look like Peter’s regular clothes but it never felt exactly like cotton of wool. It was always different. MJ gave Peter emotional support as he tried to reject the alien symbiote. She remembered when Venom first appeared and how little confidence Peter had in his ability to confront it. She had known the symbiotic alien longer that Brock did and from that memory she drew strength. It had weaknesses such as fire and sonic attacks, but Eddie Brock’s ego was one of them. More determined now she mustered up the courage to confront this horror in her living room.
“There,” the alien smiles seeing the courage return to her face, “that is more like it.”
Mary Jane takes a half step toward the couch. She thinks, “maybe I can stall him till Peter gets home. ” With newfound authority MJ addresses the intruder. “Can’t you shift your suit into something less conspicuous? If one of my neighbors sees you…”
“Your neighbors go to bed after the ten o’clock news.” Venom taunts.
Mary Jane does not loose her composure but questions anyway “How…”
“We have been watching. We have watched your neighbors turn in. We have watched the Spider go away and we have watched you stay. We find your dedication touching.”
Mary Jane looks the monster in its face defiantly, “You’ve been watching?”
The black mass of symbiote quivers slightly, and Mary Jane notices the subtle shift. “Venom almost seems embarrassed,” she realizes. “He has some…” trying to put her mind on the right word, “…remorse?”
Mary Jane considers this information, “Now I know why I’ve been feeling so uneasy. This freak has bee watching me all night.”
“We apologize for spying but our revenge takes precedence over all else.” The symbiotic villain returns, “hunger, pain and suffering will not dissuade us from our path. Parker dies and he dies tonight.”
In the back of her mind, Mary Jane formulates a plan. Stall till the cavalry swings through the window.
Mary Jane instigates a response, “You ‘know things’ Venom? You know things only Peter would know?”
Bringing up his favorite subject, Venom bites on the lure, “We know much of what Parker knows, his secrets and his fears he has shared with us. The tools of his destruction are they and they are many.” The saliva begins to flow from its maw of teeth, the thought of revenge eliciting a Pavlovian response. “Tonight we have a reckoning. The Spider dies here and we are avenged.”
MJ approaches the couch and takes a more relaxed stride, “Your not here for Spider-Man are you?”
The demonic grin disappears from the monsters confusion stricken face, “You doubt us? You doubt our motivation?”
MJ leans against the couch, “If you wanted to ambush Peter you could have done it when he left.” She props herself up by one hand running the other along the outer seam of her jeans. “You could have fought him on the roof. If you wanted he could be dead by now.”
Venom tries to feign anger; “Our revenge is pure. We will wait for him in his own lair, defeat him once and forever on his home turf. Ambush is not our way.” The villains tongue wags out from his mouth with the object of its obsession for so long so close to a deadly conclusion. “You will bare witness to our confrontation.”
Having spent years as a model Mary Jane has honed the talent of letting her watcher see exactly what they want to see. She never considered she would be using her skills in this manner, but she had to stall for time.
“You wouldn’t have had to ambush him, you could have made an open challenge.” She looks down at the cushions of the couch hiding her eyes while preparing herself for the next stage of her plan. In a quiet but firm voice she appealed to his ego. “You came here tonight for me didn’t you, Eddie?”
The monster recoils like a vampire confronted with a crucifix. “You speak poison. You are trying to distract us from our righteous path. We are not Eddie. We are Venom.”
Mary Jane hooks her thumb through one of belt loops on her jeans. “You started watching as surveillance, intelligence in your war against Peter. You saw me try to seduce him into staying. You watched without fear from your perch. His spider-sense couldn’t detect you and you clung camouflaged to the wall.” She looks up from the couch and gives Venom a sultry stare; “You saw him leave and you stayed, watching me. You watched me wait for him didn’t you?”
It hops forward; Venom’s huge frame lands crouched on the coffee table. It resembles a panther readying to pounce on its prey, “We remember that emotion, we remember how he felt for you. But that is all. Just a poison memory of Parker’s.”
Mary Jane takes the thumb from her belt loop and runs it along the upper edge of her jeans. Reclining of the top of the couch, she pops open the top button on her jeans. “You remember more than that, don’t you. The alien was part of Peter, bonded to him physically and emotionally.” Venom blankly stares enraptured by the woman in front of him. Mary Jane runs her hand slowly up her blouse. Her hand comes to a rest between her ample breasts. She slows her speech for emphasis, “You remember much more don’t you? You remember when Peter would hold me, when he would kiss me,” her hand cups her breasts, almost presenting it for inspection “you remember when we made love don’t you?”
Venom spits a retort through his closed teeth, “We remember much, but only half of us has those desires.”
“How long has it been Eddie?” Mary Jane whispers, “I know your wife left you before this happened. Revenge is not something you can hold in the night.” MJ’s fingernail circles her hardening nipple and she wets her lips. “But I’m right here tonight.” The supermodel is a professional at selling herself and Eddie Brock responds anatomically in a way that the alien symbiote can barely conceal.
“I’ll make you a deal Venom. If you let Peter live I’ll give myself to you.”
The monster rocks back with laughter, “You overestimate your position.” Venom lets loose a few guffaws. “We still burn with rage for Parker’s blood and nothing will quench that fire. No woman is worth the pain that Parker has caused us and we will have our revenge.” Again it salivates at the thought of killing Peter Parker. “Besides if we wanted to have you we would take you and there is nothing you could do.”
“Taking me is not having me Eddie. I’m willing to give myself to you.”
Mary Jane continues to massage her breast, showing off its firmness and girth. It was impossible for Venom to look at anything else. Eddie Brock was still deep down a man and the motion of her hand and suggestive poise of her body forced him to pay attention to nothing else. Her crooked smile dredged memories from the symbiote of a happier time when it, Parker and her would often couple in the night. Many happy hours they spent on top, behind and inside her. All without her knowing that they shared a bed with an extra galactic symbiote. These couplings made Parker ecstatically happy, so it made the symbiote ecstatically happy as well. Generally the symbiote’s race survived by stealth, but now she was offering…
Venom tried to shake itself back to its purpose, “You would never betray Parker, we know this as well.” Venom spoke with more conviction. “Cease this attempt at interloping in our affair.”
Mary Jane slides off the couch and turns her back to Venom.
The creature crawls on all fours from the coffee table to the couch. Predatory by nature it just can’t let its prey go. MJ bows her head and her hands disappear from the creature’s view. “Are you praying? We swore not to harm you as long as you remain an innocent.”
“Don’t I look innocent?”
With a calculated spin, Mary Jane turns around. Her unbuttoned blouse swings open and off her shoulders, held in place by her bent elbows. She stands there undaunted; revealing the red velvet bra that barely contains her perfectly proportioned breasts. Her flat stomach, flawless skin, magnificent neck and shoulders give the monster additional pause. Her curly crimson tresses frame a face that the angels could envy. She gives the monster, alien and man in one, across the room a seductive gaze with a power all its own. She was as beautiful as the creature before her was repulsive.
“Eddie… Venom…” Mary Jane kept her gaze firm on him but soft enough to still suggest, “I’ll do anything you want, just let my husband live…”
Between the alien’s memories and Eddie’s human lust, Venom could feel its resolve start to wane. “No deal Mary Jane. We will have our vengeance. Your husbands fate is sealed.”
MJ notes Venom’s weakness, referring to him as “her husband” rather than “Parker” or “Spider”. With an agonizingly deliberate slowness, she pulls on one corner of her unfastened jeans. The zipper pops down each rung, one after another, she slowly grinds her hips to music only MJ can hear.
“If my husband is already condemned then grant him a stay of execution.”
The symbiotic villain straightens a little his interest peaked by more than just her suggestion. “A reprieve?”
“One year Eddie,” MJ pleads keeping her voice soft and sultry, “One year and you get all of me right now.”
The monster’s resolve begins to crumble. MJ could see that even through the symbiotic skin that hides Eddie Brock’s features. With the hand she pulled her jeans open, she reaches into the hidden recesses of her red velvet panties. Her other hand fondles her own tit. She begins to gyrate to music played by her own fingers on the instrument of her sex.
MJ frantically thinks, “I know Venom has enhanced senses, my scent may be enough to push him over”. Mary Jane looks at Venom through half-closed eyes, her face becoming a portrait of desire. “Hurry up Peter I’m running out of tricks and I’m gonna end up fucking your archenemy.”
Once again, it tries to hide is insecurity behind its wrath. “You would never, your dedication to him is total.”
“That’s why I’m willing to do this,” she whispers back to the creature that is salivating on her couch. Her manipulations have brought her to a state of arousal. The pheromones invade the pleasure centers of Eddie Brock’s brain.
“You will promise me one thing, Mrs. Parker…” the sociopathic symbiote begins, “…you may never tell him about this.”
Mary Jane is almost snapped out of her self-induced state of heightened sexual awareness. “What?”
The monster spies the subtle miscue in her rhythm it cause with its suggestion. The shark-like grin returns to the creature’s face, the tongue wags around with delight at the slightest distress it causes in her seduction. “You will promise me you won’t tell him that I was here and everything that we do tonight.” Venom becomes giddy with his own suggestion, “When I kill him, I want to tell him that I’ve already had his woman.”
Desperately Mary Jane looks to the skylight. No Spider-Man swings through to save her. She is caught in a trap of her own design. Her stalling tactics have led her down a path with only one conclusion. The monster was growing impatient. Ten seconds more and he would just web her to the wall, shut the lights off and lie in wait for her true loves return. In the end, there was really no decision.
“Alright Venom, What do you want me to do?”
