Blue Dragon - Prologue

In the woods from a age a women was running in her hands she carried 2 baskets, the sounds of neighing horses echoed, The women ran as she could hearing the horses coming closer the sounds of the men riding them echoing as well threw out the forest.

"if they catch me now they will certainly kill me..." she said to herself as she hears one of the horsemen in a cold and cruel voice,"she went this way she won't get very far"

Her heart raced as she knew she didn't have much of a choice, if was either get caught, and die alone or her children die with her...

She knew the baskets were light enough so the baskets could to her children to safety. She hurridly covered her children as she says, "stay strong my sons, I love you 4 dearly"
She placed the baskets down into the river and pushes on them sending them down river.

Just as the baskets were out of sight the men on horses appeared and from there, the women was never heard of again, The 2 baskets continued down the river untill it can to a tall building,
A rat was meditating until the sound of soft cries were heard. The human rat stood and walks over to the river his eyes catching the two baskets as he used his cane to pick up the baskets, the sniffles and cries heard abet louder.

"what is this?" he asked himself as he put the two baskets down and pulled back on the blanket that was covering. As he pulls the blanket back he is amazed to see 2 baby kappas, and as he pulled the second blanket away he saw 2 more children. Joy filled the old rats heart when he saw the babies sleeping. the rat looked around to see if he could see the mother but was sadden by the thought that the infants were alone.

"You poor things" he said looking at the sleeping babies "If I left you out here now you all would certainly be doomed..." he ran a finger under one of the sleeping kappas chins,

The wise rat thought, and smiled as he picks the baskets up saying,
"I think you 4 will like living with me"

So the Rat took them to his temple and from that day raised them, Time passed and the four turtle babies grew to small children the old rat raised and taught then they way of the buddha..

Saburo and Shiro left into the temple garden after lesson, excited to see the silkworms as Jiro says to his brother Haruko "you wanna come see the silk worms that sensi bought??"
Haruko nods to Jiro "yeah"

Jiro walks out with Haruko as Their sensi put some silk worm eggs on the leaves as Shiro was holding a silk worm.

Saburo says with a small disgusted face "eww he's furry"
Shiro says eyeing his brother, "he's gonna loose his fur when he's bigger"
Haruko looks at the worms, and the eggs, turning to his sensi he says,
"do these really make silk sensei?"

Their Sensi nods, "Yes Haruko, the one Shiro has is still a baby but when it sheds its skin to grow bigger it will make beautiful silk"

Jiro looks saying, "and they come from eggs THAT small?"
"Yes Jiro"

harukos eyes widened he could not beleive that such a small creature make such a beuatiful thing,

Their sensi looks at them then,
"Now my Children, when you are older you will be able to take care of these silkrooms and see their beauty" their Sensi told that how to take care of them, what they eat, and then showed the children on how to remove the silk that the other worms already made, and then walking the children down the hall he opened the door where the kids saw hundreds of beautiful lamps

Haruko blinks stunned as he says " wow sensi did those worms make these? "
The Rat nods, "Yes Haruko, the silk worms made the silk, and I make them into the lamps you four see"

Jiro was amazed too as Shiro and Saburo was staring in shock to see so many lamps.
Haruko lools back at his sensi "sensi you'll be here to see us raise them won't you?"

The rat smiles, he would be able to see them raise the worms yes, but a short time. He pats Haruko on the head saying, "of course my son" Haruko seemed releived by that thought he then happily turned and skiped down the hall to the main temple.

From that time on the kids soon grew into teenagers...

"Jiro have you seen sensei?" Haruko asked his brother as he was sitting weaving the silk into the lamp frame. Jiro shook his head, "no I didn't Haruko"

Haruko made his way to the garden were he saw shiro and saburo taking care of the silk worms, he asks, "Have you 2 seen sensei?"

Shiro shook his head as he puts the mulberry leaves down and watched as some of the worms ate, Saburo says "I think he's still meditating" Haruko turned and left the garden then made his way down the hal to there sensei's room he knocks but with no answer...

A few minuets later as Jiro was making the lamps like their sensi taught them he froze hearing Haruko shout and quickly put his things down and ran to where the shout came from, his heart racing some for what was wrong with Haruko, as he makes it to their sensi door he hears, as if someone in tears, "No sensei please wake up"

Jiro stops at the door "Haruko?"
haruko looked back at Jiro tears streaming down his face

Jiro took a step into their sensi room and froze he knew right off the bat, that the smell in the air was of death, Jiro frowns and walks over saying his arms opened out some to his eldest brother, "come here brother"

haruko stood and and wraps his arms around jiros waist laying his head on Jiros shoulder the tears didn't seem to stop coming, he shook some too as Jiro hugged Haruko sightly saying,
"its ok bro, we'll be ok" He managed to get them out of the room and closed the door as they sat on the temple steps.

"why?" said Haruko looking at Jiro "why did buddha take him away from us?"
Jiro frowns as he says, "it must of been his time Haruko, you know he was ill, how he walked with his cane?"

Haruko nods not wanting to show his weakness "yes you are right" haruko stood then "come jiro help me prepare him"
Jiro nods as he says "Sure Haruko, are you going to be ok?"

hauko nods to his brother "he is with buddha now and his spirt is at peace"
Jiro nods and later that evening their beloved Sensi was burried by the river where he found them.

Leo bolted up right in his bed, he could feel the sweat coming down off his face and his heart was racing so hard. He says trying to calm down, "oh god what a dream...it was too real" when leo checked the time he groans some, it was just too cold to get out of bed.

It was another cold winter day but to Leo he couldn't feel the cold, still stunned by the dream he had as he entered the kitchen, Raph looks up and is stunned to see Leo,
"woah Leo you ok?"

Leo nods, "yeah just a bad dream"
Raph laugh some "no kidding, ya as white as a ghost" Leo sat down with Raph,
"it was so real it was like i was right there"

Raph shakes his head, "I bet it was Mikeys cooking that did that to ya"
Leo laughs a bit "yeah maybe it did" Raph says then as Donny came to sit down for breakfast,
"a regular breakfast will knock those thoughts out of ya"

Leo nods as Mikey came out of the kitchen with five plates full of food, two balanced on each of his arms and one on his head as Mikey sets them down. Raph says eyeing Mikey "Mike, PLEASE tell me you didn't cook this"

Mikey says, "yeah I didn't"
Donny rolled his eyes saying, "I did Raph"
Raph laugh some saying relived "awesome"

Leo smiles some shaking his head, "we should wait for mater splinter to arrive"
"Don't need to wait long then" said Donny tilting his head in the direction of the kitchen enterance.
Master Splinter stood at the enterance as he smiles joining the turtles as he saw the food he says with a smile "Good Morning my sons" and the brothers greeted their father

Leo got up and politely bowed saying, "Morning Sensi" Splinter bows back.
As they all sat Splinter says, "Leonardo my son, are you not well? You seem paler then you should"

Leo says "I had a bad dream thats all .....nothing to be concerned about"
Splinter nods "still, perhaps you should rest for now after breakfast while I train with ya brothers"
Leo shook his head, "No master i'm fine .....really"
Raph says with a small laugh, "yeah Sensi, you know Leo" Splinter nods as he says,
"Very well my son"

Leo sat back down again and eat after breakfast Mikey helped Donny with the dishes as Leo then went back to the living room soon the door opened....
