Passion And Letting Go
Worthless
The Joker paced around in his cluttered office, thinking. "What the fuck is wrong with her?!" He stopped for a second, then sighed miserably. "Maybe- Maybe it was my fault. No... No, it isn't. Harley is a slut," he said aloud, trying to convince himself and stay calm.
The small room he stood in was cramped, as there was an abnormally large (and expensive) desk sitting in the middle of it. There was about a 3-foot wide path from the desk to the wall, but with all the stacks of dusty papers, this was almost cut in half. "Pregnant?! That's impossible!" Harley knew he was sterile... Yet, she went on telling him that she was expecting. Sleeping with another man... That was what angered him. After all he'd done for her! But deep inside, there was a hint of sorrow and regret.
Perhaps if he hadn't treated Harley the way he did, she would still be here, sitting under his desk and pleasing him with her mouth. It was one of the many things he enjoyed about her... The way she could sexually please a man. But knowing the clown-girl had done this for another man... It broke him. Yes, Joker was so mad he seemed to be steaming, but it hurt more than anything.
"Harley..." He let the words roll off his tongue, then wrinkled his nose as if it tasted foul. The man noticed his mind was almost completely on Harley, then growled. "Selfish bitch! Get out of my head! It's all your fault... You've done this to me!" The Joker pulled a knife from one of the mahogany drawers in the desk, feeling the blade with his finger. It was so sharp, it made him bleed on contact. Taking his long, pale finger away, The Clown Prince of Crime felt a rage wash over him. Right now, all he wanted to do was use this precious knife to slit Harley's soft neck skin. In his fit of hate, he took the knife and stabbed it into the polished wood, hearing the splintering noises as it hit.
Then, the phone rang. Like an alarm to his ears. It was from Harley's cell phone. What came next was enough to send him off the edge of insanity, where he would plummet to his death.
