"Johnny?"
He blinked. She stroked his cheek.
"Did you go somewhere?" she chuckled then sat upright. He was back. They were still between the sheets.
"maybe..." he wispered. "how long was i out?"
"You must have fallen asleep for only a few minutes. You had me worried there." She smiled pulling the sheets closer. It was still difficult to see in the room. The windows had fog on them.
"Something wrong Johnny?"
"the futer.." he mumbled.
Devi had a puzzled look on her face.
"Jonny," she chuckled again, " you must have gone somewhere."
"yeah, i think i did." his gazed finally met hers. She moved back a little. Feeling a little unsure.
"I should do the right thing..." he mumbled.
"Johnny your freaking me out..."
"but i dont think i can..." he pulled her back to his arms.
"Johnny!"
he touched her face.
"sorry i didnt mean to scare you."
his eyes returned to normal.
generously he stroked her cheek and laid her back down. She smailed a releafed smile.
Johnny began to run his hands over he body gently... up and down the sides of her neck.
with shaking hands he held her slender neck in his fingers...
she made a sound that didnt come out right.
she began to struggel but she was tangled in covers. He continued to hold his face to hers while he drained her life away.
"please... be still..." he wispered as the colour in her face began to fall...
