Watching the News
I'm not making any money from this, nor do I own the ninja turtles - I'm just borrowing them for a while.

“How’s Charlie?” Mikey snickered, batting his eyes and blowing kisses at Don. Leo had moved Mike from his bed to the living room couch. Don made a face and set the box down on the floor next to him.
“She’s just fine. She sent you these.” Mike opened the box with his good arm and a huge grin spread across his face.
“Oooh! Graphic novels! I feel so grown-up!”
Raph sat next to Mike on the couch and thumbed through one of the books. Don flopped down in an chair and flipped on the tv to catch April on the 10 o’clock news.
“Hey guys! How’d it go?” Leonardo asked, appearing from the kitchen with a bowl of cereal which he handed to Mikey before sitting in the recliner.
Don blushed. He’d had a nice evening, hanging out with Charlie and Raphael. “We walked her back to her place, and she made us dinner.”
“What did ya have?” Mikey asked, not looking up from the graphic novel he’d already started reading.
“Pork chops and a rice and veggie stirfry with homemade brownies and ice cream.” Don replied with a grin. Mike looked impressed.
Raph nodded. “The chick can cook... and on a completely unrelated topic, I think we should see more of her.” Ralph laughed and Don chucked a cushion at his head.
“Seriously though, Leo”, Don continued. “I really think she’s ok. I think she’s a bit lonely and she’s glad of the company.”
“Yeah, she’s cool”, Raph confirmed. “And she checked out our boy, twice!” Leo and Mike both sat up a bit and looked at Donnie who blushed even harder.
“No she didn’t.” Don growled.
“Oh yes she did! She totally checked out his biceps when he picked up that box, and when he bent down to set the clock on her vcr, she definitely glanced ass-ward!”
Don rolled his eyes. “Ass-ward? That’s not even a word, and she didn’t check me out... if she looked at me at all, it’s because she’s curious about us. We’ve seen lots of humans, but mutant turtles in her kitchen are a new feature in her life.”
“Did you see her look at me like that?”
“Well... I don’t know...” Don stammered. Raphael raised an eyebrow at him and Don looked away. “I guess not, no.”
Raph leaned back, looking very wise. “The prosecution rests.”
“I didn’t you liked her, bro” Leo said, smiling. The turtles didn't get much female contact and were happy for each other on these rare occasions. Don looked at the tv, feeling a bit uncomfortable, like he was being examined. "It's nice to know they care, though" he thought.
“I didn’t say I did!” The other turtles broke down in peals of laughter.
“You didn’t have to.” Leo choked out before becoming serious again. “Why don’t you invite her here? Use Mikey as an excuse if you’re nervous.”
“Yeah”, said Mikey. “Tell her I’d bored and I’d love a visit.”
“I dunno...” Donnie said. “I’m not sure if she’s ready to come into the sewer, hang out with four turtles, and meet a giant rat. She’s had a lot of freaky stuff thrown at her in the last week... I don’t want to break her brain or anything -”.
“April’s on!” shouted Mikey pointing to the tv.
