Disclaimer:
I do not own Teen Titans, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Untitled for now.
AUTHOR NOTE: This chapter is short, some of them will be and some will be much longer. Just whenever it seems like a good time to end, it will. Everyone will be OOC, but you never know how they would really react to these situations. This story will follow Raven into a place that she will never forget.
Disclaimer: I don't own this or any other show. Thank you

Beastboy slammed face first into the concrete wall, his vision suddenly coated with a red haze. Rising again, he ran back toward his attackers with a savage roar. Altering his body in to that of a gorilla, he swung wildly at the slade bots that seemed to appear from nowhere, two for every one that he destroyed. The other members of his team had long since gone ahead, searching for Slade, or whoever had reactivated the dormant machines.
Ripping one robot in half, he used the two pieces to batter the others. He almost laughed when a sudden sharp, almost electric pain shot through the base of his neck. Beastboy was barely able to turn around to see the offending mechanical man before he hit the ground. His green head fell below the surface of the water that covered the floor just as he faded into darkness.

Raven grimaced as she levitated back through the tunnels toward where she had last seen the green boy she was now in search of. The robots had been automatically activated when there was no signal from Slade in over six months. She had somehow gotten volunteered to go back and retrieve Beastboy.
That wasn't exactly the problem, it was something that she wouldn't speak about to any of the others, she barely admitted it to herself. She still couldn't believe that she had kissed him.
It happened after his inner beast had been released, during their talk on the beach along the island holding the tower. Staring out into the water, after having put Beastboy's idiotic comments to rest, they sat in silence for some time. It lasted surprisingly long, Raven couldn't remember spending so much time with anyone, just enjoying their company. Sure she had been with Starfire more often lately, but they were always doing something that kept their minds from really thinking about who they were with. It was almost romantic, or would have been if she were with anyone else. She was with Beastboy though, and no matter how cute his smile was when he wasn't trying to impress her with some stupid joke, no matter how much his fuzzy features made her want to smile in spite of herself, and no matter how his eyes shined when she stared at him while he wasn't looking, they could never be together and this would never be romantic.
Somewhere deep in the recesses of her mind, she had heard a voice ask why. It frightened her as she stared off into those green, sparkling stars.
She started when she realized there were no such thing as green stars and she was in fact staring into the changeling's eyes. Quickly turning away, she saw out of the corner of her eye that he was simply smiling sweetly at her, either not knowing she had been staring and not listening, or not caring.
One of her more aggressive emotions sent her an image of the two kissing, hands roaming to each other's bodies. Gloved hands moving through dark hair and over pale skin, feminine fingers gripping around a green neck and suit clad waist.
In another part of her inner world, she heard rage scream in denial of the scene being broadcast to her conscience self.
Silently she wondered if there was a thought that her darker self despised enough to be heard that clearly, it couldn't be all bad. Turning quickly she pecked the green titan on the lips, barely moving away before pressing forward again.
It only lasted a moment, but seemed to take a lifetime before their lips separated again. Almost immediately Raven faded into the rock and resurfaced in her room to concentrate on controlling the emotions that bellowed within her head.
He had never brought the incident up in front of the others, but when they were alone, he would make comments that would make her flush and irritate her immensely.
Now she was stuck going to get him so they could leave, the entire trip out of this maze of tunnels would be one big kissing joke. Her mind rationalized that it was his way of flirting, while another part said he was just doing it to embarrass her. If that were true though, then he would be doing it in front of Robin, Star and Cyborg instead of just when they were alone.
Raven frowned, she might even have responded positively to a few comments under different circumstances, but she couldn't risk the lives of so many just for her own selfish feelings. Too bad, she thought, I might even have learned to love him.
Another voice from deep down spoke up in a sarcastic voice. "Learn to? Isn't that like learning to blink? It's just something you do, and we all know it."
The dark titan almost verbally argued when she turned the corner and saw the scene that lay before her. Slade bots lay all over the ground, some half buried in water, others laying in piles all around. A good number of them had been destroyed, while others merely deactivated at the control panel.
This wasn't what made her stop in her tracks however. It was the teen hero lying face down in the dingy water.
Sailing over to Beastboy, she cradled him on his lap, searching for a pulse. There was none. Using her powers, she searched for his life force desperately. Once again, she found nothing. Even if she could get him to hospital, there was nothing left to save.
Unable to control her grief, she closed her eyes and screamed with mixed emotions. She wasn't even sure why she was so struck by this death, more so than any that she can remember.
Her body was enveloped with darkness, spreading out then with a surprising suddenness, it shrank to nothingness.
Silence filled the tunnels, the screams of a mourning woman gone, and only a pile of robots surrounding the limp body of a green hero could be found.
The remaining three titans buried Beastboy, and searched for Raven for months before giving up. Whether she was gone, or simply didn't want to be found didn't matter. They would never see the gothic woman again.
